Homicide detective Rick Santoro (Nicholas Cage) is watching the Heavyweight fight in an Atlantic City
casino. The champ is knocked down, then a gunshot is fired. Turns out, the Secretary of Defense was
assassinated by the shot. Rick noticed that the champs eyes popped open after the gunshot despite taking a vicious blow.
He realizes the fight was fixed and something fishy was going on. He launches an investigation right inside the
casino.
