| The excitement of starting your first project car is pretty good, and i wanted to get into it straight away. So, every Saturday for the next 9 months were spent at dad's workshop. The first step was to strip the car of all unecesary things, in other words, everything..... The trim was attacked first, I knew that we weren't gonna use any of it because it was all stuffed. So, the seats, what was left of the carpet and just about everything else was filed away in the "big blue bin". All that was left was the back seat and the dash. So then we turned our attention to the exterior. All badges, mouldings, clips and other things like that were carefully removed, taped up snd labelled - just in case.... Then off came the bars, and everything else. My baby was now naked. |
| Bare as, paint was aged but the body looked straight. This car was un molestered, typical two owner car and even had the original purchase papers, log books, receipts and owners manuel with the blue vynal case! The wide rubber on the front told me this car had seen some time on the track. |
