Where
it all began.... The Leafs played the Rangers at Wembley here in England in
September 1993 and after buying tickets from a tout - we found that we were
next to the Leafs bench! This made up my mind who to support as I’d planned
to stay impartial. My husband preferred the Avs, so was not impressed.
Halfway through the game Damien Rhodes replaced Felix in net (no not because
he was rubbish!) and for the rest of the game whenever there was a break in
play I tried to get Felix’s signature - without success. Over the years I
have collected many items to do with Felix, from player cards, signed photos,
“Starting line-up” figure’s, a tattoo (!), various Replica shirts & one Game-Worn
one.
