This book is not as much about courtship as about the precious years before courtship, and what is done with them. It deals, quite well, with spending the teenage years as training for a life of servanthood for Christ, living a life of "purposeful singleness," and respecting the opposite sex and having Godly friendships without the temptations and stress of a dating relationship. Even for those who have decided to live their lives without the worldly influences of modern dating, this book is a good encouragement; it can revive that resolution, and it can fortify concepts that perhaps weren’t entirely clear before. 235 pgs.
