INT. ADAM'S HOUSE-THE KITCHEN-SHONDRA AND STEVEN ARE SITTING AT THE TABLE,MAKING HER SHEET GHOST.THE MILK JUG IS ALREADY TIED INSIDE THE SHEET,AND STEVEN IS DRAWING THE FACE ON WITH A BLACK MAGIC MARKER.
INT. TOMMY'S HOUSE-THE STUDY-TOMMY IS SITTING AT THE DESK READING REX'S BOOK.
Then,offscreen,we hear someone knock on the door,the old "Shave and a haircut,two bits" knock.
Tommy sighs,then stands up and walks out of the room,carrying the book.
INT. TOMMY'S LIVINGROOM-TOMMY WALKS UP TO THE DOOR AND STOPS.
TOMMY: Who is it?
REX: (O.S.)Haddonfield Police.Open the door.
TOMMY: (to himself)What the hell?
Tommy opens the door.
Standing there in the doorway is the Man In Black,his head down so all we see is the top of his hat where the face should be.
TOMMY: Oh,shit.
Tommy steps back.
The Man In Black looks up and we see his face.It's Rex,now dressed exactly like Wynn and smiling.
REX: Tommy Doyle?I'm Rex Hall.I need to talk to you about Michael.
Tommy looks down at the picture of Rex on the back of the book and then up at Rex's face.
TOMMY: It is you.
REX: Uh...yeah.Can I come in?
TOMMY: Sure.
Tommy steps back,opening the door wider.
Rex enters,looking around.
REX: Where's your kitchen?
TOMMY: I'll show you.
Tommy shuts the door.
EXT. ADAM'S HOUSE-NIGHT-SHONDRA IS STANDING ON A SMALL STEP LADDER, HANGING THE SHEET GHOST FROM THE LOWEST LIMB ON A SMALL TREE IN ADAM'S FRONT YARD.STEVEN IS STANDING ON THE GROUND,WATCHING.
EXT. A RESTAURANT-NIGHT-ADAM'S CAR PULLS INTO A PARKING LOT.THE SIGN ON THE BUILDING READS: ODIE'S PLACE.
INT. THE RESTAURANT-ADAM AND KARA ENTER.
We look around.Odie's Place is a very dark sports bar.The only light in the place is coming from the TV sets that are all over the place and the neon beer lights that are on the walls.
Kara turns to Adam.
KARA: Where's the pay phone?
ADAM: Back by the used beer department.
KARA: What?
ADAM: Back by the bathroom.
KARA: Oh.
INT. ADAM'S HOUSE-THE LIVINGROOM-SHONDRA AND STEVEN ENTER.
Steven runs over to the TV,on which a movie is just starting.The movie is THE THING,the black and white version.
Shondra turns to lock the door but before she can the phone rings offscreen.
Shondra turns away from the door and walks toward the kitchen.
INT. THE KITCHEN-THE WALLPHONE IS RINGING.BESIDE THE WALLPHONE IS A SMALL CHALKBOARD.WRITTEN ON THE BOARD IS: ODIE'S PLACE-555-6783

Shondra steps into the camera range and answers the phone.
SHONDRA: Hello,Carpenter residence.
INT. ODIE'S PLACE-KARA IS TALKING ON A PAY PHONE.
KARA: Hello,Shondra?Is everything alright?
INT. ADAM'S KITCHEN.
SHONDRA: Yeah,everything's fine.Steven and I just got the ghost hung up.(pause)No,we're not going out anymore.(pause)Okay.
INT. THE LIVINGROOM-STEVEN IS TOTALLY ENGROSSED WITH THE MOVIE.
He doesn't notice as the door slowly swings open.
INT. ODIE'S PLACE-KARA'S ON THE PHONE.
KARA:Can you do me a favor?(pause)Do you have the portable?
INT. ADAM'S KITCHEN-SHONDRA PICKS THE PORTABLE PHONE UP OFF IT'S CHARGER ON THE COUNTER AND TURNS IT ON.WHEN SHE TURNS IT ON SHE HANGS THE WALLPHONE UP.
SHONDRA: Okay,I have the portable.(pause)Alright.The porch door?
Shondra walks over to the door to the back porch that's at the end of the kitchen counter.
She turns the knob but it won't open.
SHONDRA: Locked.(pause)The back yard.Wait a second.
Shondra hits a switch next to the door.
EXT. THE HOUSE-NIGHT-TWO BRIGHT LIGHTS ON EACH SIDE OF THE DOOR COME ON.THE LIGHTS ILLUMINATE THE BACK PORCH AND THE BACK YARD,CLEAR BACK TO THE EDGE OF THE CORNFIELD.
INT. ADAM'S KITCHEN-SHONDRA LOOKS OUT THE WINDOW IN THE DOOR.
SHONDRA'S P.O.V-THE BACK YARD IS EMPTY.
SHONDRA: I don't see anything.Totally empty.(pause)Sure.
Shondra turns the back porch lights off and turns away from the door.
EXT. THE HOUSE-NIGHT-MICHAEL STEPS OUT OF THE CORN.
INT. THE HOUSE-THE LIVINGROOM-SHONDRA WALKS IN,HOLDING THE PORTABLE PHONE.SHE GOES TO THE FRONT DOOR AND LOCKS IT.
SHONDRA: Locked.
She goes to the window next to the front door and looks out.
SHONDRA: Front yard empty.
She passes Steven and the TV to go to a window looking over the side yard.She looks out.
SHONDRA'S P.O.V-THE SIDE YARD IS EMPTY EXCEPT FOR THE BARN AND THE BUS.
SHONDRA: Nothing there.(pause)Okay.(pause)Uh-huh.(pause)You,too.Have fun.Don't worry,everything is gonna be fine.(pause)Okay.Bye.
Shondra turns the portable phone off.
Steven is still watching THE THING.
INT. THE KITCHEN-SHONDRA WALKS IN WHISTLING THE SAME TUNE ANNIE WHISTLED IN PART 1.
SETH: (O.S.)Hola mi amigo.
Shondra turns quickly to see Seth sitting at the kitchen table with the three videos infront of him.He stands up.
SHONDRA: Seth!What are you doing here?
SETH: I came to keep you company.
SHONDRA: No.No way.You have to leave now,before Steven sees you.
Seth steps into the doorway to the livingroom,looking in.
SETH: Doesn't look like he'll be seeing anybody.
Shondra steps into the doorway and looks into the livingroom.
A commercial is on the TV,and Steven is asleep on the couch.
SHONDRA: I have to get him to bed.(looks at watch)It's only eight.(looks over at Seth)Leave.
SETH: Take him to bed,and we can talk about this.
SHONDRA: I'll take him to bed,then you're leaving.
SETH: Fine,sure,whatever you say.Just get that kid to bed.
Shondra walks out of the room.
Seth smiles,sitting back down at the table.
INT. TOMMY'S KITCHEN-THE WALL CLOCK READS: 8:07 P.M.
Tommy and Rex are sitting at the table.
TOMMY: What did you come here for?
REX: I wanted to talk to you about Michael.With Loomis and Wynn dead I figured you were probably the most experienced with Michael next to me.
TOMMY: You have no experience with him.
REX: True.But I know him.I also know alot more than you.
TOMMY: What?
REX: I know Laurie Strode's entire story.Like,how she didn't die in that 1987 car crash.I also know what happened to her son,John.Laurie faked her death.She couldn't handle the fear any longer.Even though Michael had been in a coma for nine years at that point,she was still freaked out.Consumed with alcohol and drugs.She and her husband faked their deaths,Jamie and John were put in foster care.When Michael came after Jamie in 1988, Laurie got scared.She took John out of the foster home and moved to California,taking the name Keri Tate.
TOMMY: Keri Tate?That's that teacher everyone says Michael killed a couple years ago.
REX: Keri Tate was Laurie Strode,and yes Michael did kill her.He tracked her down through Marion Chambers-Wittington.Went to California,where Laurie was teaching at a private high school.Killed a security guard,two students,Laurie's boyfriend,John's girlfriend,and John.Which was very unfortunate because the year before that Laurie had finally gotten over her fear of Michael.She had a dream that totally cleared her mind.From what I hear from close friends in this dream she confronted Michael and at the end lopped his head off with a fire axe.But killing Michael in a dream is a lot different that killing him in reality.He caught up with that bitch and taught her a lesson.Police reports say Keri Tate,Laurie,was stabbed over a hundred times.
TOMMY: Michael killed in '98?
Rex nods.
TOMMY: The Thorn wasn't out in '98.It hasn't been out since '95.
REX: (smiles)Unbelieveable.You actually believed that lame ass theory?Wynn was the one that was deep into the Thorn.His actions only made it possible for Michael to escape and try to make the rage in his mind go away by killing his relatives.With Wynn dead and all of his Druid cult dead or in hiding Michael is free.He's been out roaming since '95.Free.
TOMMY: Why hasn't he come for us yet?
REX: Patience.Instinct.Michael takes his time.He waits.He wants to build the tension.He loves tormenting his victims.But what I need to know is where is Steven?
TOMMY: Kara keeps him.But she's out on a date tonight.Steven's at her boyfriend's house.
REX: What's her boyfriend's name?
TOMMY: Adam Carpenter.Why?
REX: Michael is back.It's obvious,but the police don't realize it.In Smith's Grove last night Doctor Loomis's tombstone was stolen from the cemetary.The cemetary caretaker was found murdered.In Willard last night a man was killed at a gas station.Michael left a clear trail from Smith's Grove to Haddonfield but nobody wants to believe it. But you believe it,don't you?
TOMMY: We've got to get to Adam's.
Tommy stands up and goes to the phone.
Rex stands up.
Tommy grabs the phone.
REX: What are you doing?
TOMMY: I'm calling the police.We can't take Michael on by ourselves.I won't tell 'em that it's Michael,but I will tell them something that will get them out here.
Tommy starts dialing 911 when Rex whips out a butterfly knife and cuts the phone cord in half,doing it all very calmly.
Tommy looks at Rex,pissed.
TOMMY: What the hell did y...
Rex punches Tommy in the face.
Tommy falls back against the wall,grabbing his now-bloody nose.
REX: Sorry,Tommy,but I can't let you do that.Michael and I have some personal business to attend to tonight and I won't have you and the police getting in the way.You don't have to die.Nobody has to die but Steven.And I'll make sure that happens.Stay out of the way.
Tommy stands infront of Rex.
TOMMY: You're a cultist,aren't you?
REX: Yeah,but I'm not a Druid.I just believe in Michael.
Tommy lunges at Rex and he grabs an iron skillet off the stove top and slams it against the side of Tommy's head.
Tommy falls to the floor,out cold.
Rex calmly puts the skillet back where he got it from and turns to the phone.Beside the phone is a phonebook.
Rex picks the phonebook up and flips through it,until he gets to the C section.

INT. ADAM'S HOUSE-THE BEDROOM-STEVEN IS ASLEEP IN BED.
Shondra is watching from the doorway.
After a couple seconds she steps back into the hall and pulls the door until it's open just a crack.
INT. THE KITCHEN-SETH IS SITTING AT THE TABLE EATING DRY CEREAL OUT OF THE BOX.
Shondra comes in and slaps him on the back of the head.
SETH: Hey,what the shit?
SHONDRA: Why did you come here?
SETH: We were supposed to have a date tonight.We planned it for two weeks.Then today Adam asks you a question.A question can be answered yes or no.You answered yes,thereby fucking up two weeks worth of plans.
SHONDRA: Wait a second.Two weeks of planning?You just asked me out Sunday.
SETH: That's when I found out the zombie trilogy was playing.
SHONDRA: Then what's with this two weeks worth of planning line?
SETH: Well,that was.....personal plans.
SHONDRA: Personal plans,huh.Like,how you were gonna try to get me to have sex with you?
SETH: No.No,I wouldn't.....
SHONDRA: You tell all your thoughts to Kyle.Kyle cannot keep a secret.Kyle tells Brooke.Brooke cannot keep a secret.She tells me.Everything you've been talking to Kyle and Brooke about since we got together,I have been told about.
SETH: Oh,shit.....Even the.....
SHONDRA: Yes,even that.
SETH: Damn.
SHONDRA: I told you Kyle wasn't a good friend.
SETH: Look,I'm sorry about all that shit.It's just my stupid raging hormones taking control of my mind and all that....I can't help it.All I can think of,day and night,is how you would be....With me.I'm sorry about that, and I don't really want to get into that tonight.All I want to do is watch the zombie movies like we were supposed to.We don't even have to watch all three.We'll just watch NIGHT and I'll leave and come pick you up when you call.I'll watch NIGHT and go home.
SHONDRA: What was your original plan?
SETH: The original plan was to watch the movies until Kara called to tell you that she and Adam were on their way back home.When she called I would go out to the car,which I parked about ten yards down the street,and wait until I saw them pull into the driveway.Then I'd drive up.Kind of like a secret agent tricky kinda plan.
SHONDRA: Let's just stick to plan B.
SETH: You mean I can stay?
SHONDRA: Only until NIGHT ends.When NIGHT ends,you go home and wait for me to call.
SETH: (smiles)Sounds good to me.I'll go get the tape ready.You make popcorn.
SHONDRA: Where is the popcorn?
SETH: Second cabinet from the fridge.
SHONDRA: How do you know that?
SETH: I found the cereal,didn't I?
EXT. ADAM'S HOUSE-NIGHT-WE SEE THE LEGS OF A MAN WEARING A MECHANIC'S UNIFORM AND WORK BOOTS STEP UP ONTO THE BACK PORCH.WE ALL KNOW WHO DRESSES LIKE THAT.
We watch the legs walk across the wooden boards of the porch.
INT. THE KITCHEN-SHONDRA PUTS A BAG OF POPCORN INTO THE MICROWAVE.
INT. THE LIVINGROOM-SETH IS CHANNEL SURFING.
He stops when the TV reaches Channel 4.
On the TV is SO I MARRIED AN AXE MURDERER,at the climax where Amanda Plummer is chasing Mike Myers with an axe on the top of the hotel.We see the scene where she throws the axe at him and it flies through the air,hitting the roof right infront of his face.
Seth smiles.
SETH: Now there's your Michael Myers.
INT. THE KITCHEN-THE POPCORN IS BEGINNING TO POP.
INT. THE HOUSE-NIGHT-THE LEGS WALK ACROSS THE PORCH.
MICHAEL'S P.O.V-WE GET CLOSER AND CLOSER TO THE KITCHEN DOOR.
We finally reach the kitchen door.
INT. THE KITCHEN-SHONDRA TAKES THE BAG OF POPCORN OUT OF THE MICROWAVE.
As she does there's a thump at the back door.
She looks over toward it,waits,doesn't hear anything else,looks back down at the popcorn bag as she opens it.
Then there's another thump.
Shondra cautiously goes over to the door.
She flicks the switch that turns the back porch lights on.
She stands infront of the door,looking out.
SHONDRA'S P.O.V-NOBODY'S ON THE PORCH.
Shondra unlocks the door and opens it.
EXT. THE HOUSE-NIGHT-SHONDRA OPENS THE DOOR.
INT. THE HOUSE-SHONDRA LOOKS AROUND.
Suddenly,Jason Voorhees steps into the doorway,raising a red hay hook high above his head,ready to slam it down into Shondra's skull.
Shondra screams and kicks Jason in the groin.
Jason groans,doubling over in pain and Shondra slams the door shut,banging it right into the top of his head.
Jason falls down on the deck and Shondra steps back from the door as it slowly swings fully open again.
JASON: (groans)Oh.....
Elvira comes from his side and kneels beside him.
ELVIRA: Are you alright?
JASON: No.
Shondra is backing up,really confused.
Suddenly someone grabs her from behind quickly and she screams before she realizes it's Seth.
SETH: What the hell are you two doing here?
Elvira looks up at him and we see that it's actually just Brooke dressed as Elvira.
Jason pulls his hockey mask off,revealing to us that he's actually Kyle.
KYLE: Thanks,Shondra.Now I won't have to get a vasectomy.
SETH: What are you doing here?
Kyle stands up and he and Brooke come in.
KYLE: We came to watch zombies.
SETH: I thought you were trick or treating.
KYLE; We were.Why do you think we're in costume?Got an ass load of candy,too.
SETH: You are not watching zombies with us.
KYLE: Why not?
SETH: Because you're endangering Shondra's job by being here.
KYLE: And you're not?
SETH: I have a little more self control.
KYLE: What does one lost babysitting job mean?There's probably hundreds in this town.Can't we just stay for one movie?
SETH: No.
SHONDRA: Might as well.
Everyone looks at Shondra.
SETH: What?
SHONDRA: They might as well stay.One's as bad as three,I guess.
Shondra walks into the livingroom.
Seth looks over at Kyle and Brooke.
SETH: Great.
KYLE: Sorry,buddy,but it was zombies or your sex life and zombies won.
SETH: Thanks alot.
EXT. THE HOUSE-NIGHT-MICHAEL STEPS ONTO THE BACK PORCH AS THE PORCH LIGHTS GO OFF.
He walks toward the house.
