In Norway, 14-year-old Jennifer Simpson and her three friends are orphans being adopted by the reclusive owner of the old Barrows mansion, which is out in the middle of nowhere. They are led to the location by Miss Mary, who is an instructor at the orphanage where they have lived up until this point. She leaves the four girls alone in the foyer of the mansion to go and get Mr. Barrows, but does not return for a long time. Fed up with waiting, Jennifer is chosen to go and look for her, only to hear her friends scream in terror shortly afterwards. Rushing back, she finds that they have all gone missing too! This proves to only be the beginning of a nightmares, as the search to find her friends and Miss Mary turns into a desperate struggle for survival against a demonic, scissor-wielding child... |
