Yesterday (Wednesday 03102001), I took a day off from work. Off before there are too much workload for me to even get a peaceful rest.
Early this week, I got a new assignment. I was to come out with 3 concept design for a new application known as EDMS before 15 Oct. And I've start a little sketching, drawing, cunstructing etc. It's a good start at least.
I take a vacation with Miera to Port Dickson. I guess we just need sometime together. At about 10am, she picked me up at my house and after filling the gas and buying some junk food we start our journey about 10.15am. It's a very clear sunny day (alhamdulilah) after a few days of downpour. It's a smooth journey with the direction from Mekya but got lost at PD in order to find the right spot.
Arrived at about 11.15am.
It's not such a beautiful beach. The sand not as white, not as soft and the water not as blue, not as clear and not as clean. There are traces of oil spills but, hey it's OK. If I want a perfect beach (at least) I'll go to Redang (again).
There we spread a canvas sheet and make ourself at home. Just lying in laziness. It's such a fun taking a day off in the middle of the week. No traffic jam and not so many people around. We have the beach to ourself.
Miera cooked something for us. Bihun Goreng and Tuna Sandwich (thanx dear). For someone who seldom cook, it's not bad. I just can't help myself but had a second helping...=) Well, maybe I'm just hungry.
At 4pm, we start our journey back. It's such a short day when you are having fun. A very short day. But, it's a worth while short vacation. We make a stop at Seremban R&R for Asar prayer and headed for The Mines Wonderland to watch a movie. The movie ends at 9pm and off we go to end the fine day of short vacation. It's a lovely day indeed.
