Yesterday was the first time I watched a ball game LIVE in a stadium. The first time ever. Yeap! A match between Malaysia and Vietnam, which was played at Bukit Jalil National Sport Complex. Im not a football fan and I don't even know how to play ball. Well, you can call me 'Bangku by Birth' if you like. In fact, I dont even like football. But the SEA Games heat and the fact that Malaysia has a chance to be in the semi final really got to me.
After all, the ticket is only RM 5 each. After Maghrib prayer, we (me, Miera and Ucop) walked to the stadium from Technology Park Malaysia (TPM). Its a 20 minutes walk. Its kinda fun.
The stadium already packed with people. The feeling when you are there personally is different from watching it in front of a TV. Very different. The crowds, the cheering, the noise and the atmosphere. Everything is different. You can feel your heart pounding like crazy.
8.45PM - Prittttttttt. And the game begins. The 1st half was such a dull game. But the 2nd half was worth waiting. Lots of goal-try and TWO goals from our boys leaving us with 2-0 winning. They played it great for under 23. Better than theirs senior.
You should have seen Miera. Shes so excited. Ive never seen her like that. She doesnt even know the game, let alone the rules. But, she got excited all the same. REALLY excited. And I have this pain on my thigh coz she keep hitting it(out of excitement).
=)
It was a GREAT game and a GREAT moments.
