Before you hop in, do you wonder what in the world is that thing you're about to hop in to? I did a little research on what the each car's name etymology is.

Y'all know what a MUSTANG is. Yeah, it is this cool expensive car that has a 260-horsepower V8 engine. A real mustang, however, is a wild horse of the SW plains of the U.S. (No wonder why Mustang-driving people run wild in the streets.) The animal itself was named after the Spanish word mesteno which means belonging to an association of cattlemen, ranging freely. Mustang's etymology clearly associates the car itself to the wild horse and free ranging cattlemen.

CORVETTE---maybe a little less expensive than a Mustang, depending on model and accessories---is on the other hand faster than Mustangs. It has a 5-speed overdrive, 6-speed manual drive compared to Mustang's 4-speed overdrive, 5-speed manual drive. It surely fits its name derived from a fast warship smaller than a destroyer. (originally a pursuit ship)

I have nothing much to say about the ECLIPSE. It has the same speed as the Corvette but slightly cheaper. I don't know why Mitsubishi called it the Eclipse. I just can't see the their point of naming it that. Unless their purpose is to intimidate or make other cars of its kind less brilliant, I guess the name definitely fits this ride.

The MR2 SPYDER.... I don't know what to think when I see this car. The word Spyder doens't even exist, in the dictionary at least. It sure does have headlights like a spider's eyes but I don't think people at Toyota intended to design a car after a spider. If they did, they should had named it MR2 Spider. Or maybe, it was named after its purpose on SPYing jobs. Well, who knows? I don't.
