Mick Jones born 26TH JUNE 1955.

Mick taught himself guitar in his room where he lived with his Gran and Aunt, his parents where fighting all the time so he was bought up by his Gran.
Mick had been friends with Paul Simonon who he taught to play guitar as they both lived in the same area...Brixton UK.
Mick was into all sorts of music but as he had no TV he used to look into other people's windows when he heard that the Rolling Stones were on TV
Mick Played the largest role at the beginning of the Clash. Recruiting Strummer from the 101'ers n writing many songs, he was a already accomplished musician when the Clash first established. He wrote 'complete control' Which is a powerful song.
Mick on stage His worst being 'Train in Vain' Joe hated that song n loathed Jones insisting it be at every gig.
Other songs to name a few Mick sang where 'Hate and war' the 'EQUALS' old song 'POLICE ON MY BACK', The hit to be 'Should I stay or Should I Go'

Mick became lazy not bothering to turn up for rehearsals...being overly sure of himself so when Joe came back from "AWAL" both Strummer and Simomon agreed to kick Jones out.
That's where Clash 2 started but not for long as now Topper and Jones had gone with only Strummer and Simonon being the only original members it just didn't work
Joe Still helped Mick write songs for his new band 'Big Audio Dynamite' "B.A.D" first LP 'No.10 Upping Street.

BADThey drifted apart by B.A.D's second LP but with time they all forgave and met up on Occassions.
Mick joined Joe when Strummer was with his 'new' band 'the Mescaleros' in November 2002 on spur of the moment Mick got on Stage when Strummer started singing The Clash's hit 'Bankrobber'.
Something that Mick said 'was not planned but felt as not only that he felt he had to do it but really wanted to, and says he was so pleased he did...it was like old times and felt right'
Jones though has no regrets about the Clash dismembering'Mick on stage
