Portabella Mushroom Soup
Melt margerine in a soup pot and add onions and mushrooms. Saute until onions are nicely browned.

Add garlic, powdered soup and flour. Mix to coat the onion and mushroom mixture. Add the wine, scrape bottom of pot and bring to a simmer.

Add the worcestershire sauce, water and bay leaf. Bring to a simmer and cover for 10 minutes on a low flame. Remove bay leaf and add the cream.

Garnish and serve with parmesan cheese if desired.
3 T butter flavored margerine
1 C yellow onion ( chopped )
2 C portabella mushrooms
( chopped )
1/2 t crushed garlic
1 T powdered mushroom soup
2 T flour
1/2 C dry white wine
1 t worcestershire sauce
6 C water
1 bay leaf
1 C heavy cream
parmesan cheese ( optional )
