| In a soup pot bring the potatoes, celery stick, onion, salt, pepper and bay leaves to a boil. Boil on a soft boil until potatoes are soft. Remove celery stick and bay leaves. Add worcestershire sauce, and cream. When this starts boiling remove from heat and add butter. Mash with a hand held masher until potatoes are either mashed or in very small chunks. Garnish with grated cheese. Serve hot. Great with home made breads! NOTES; My oldest son gave this soup the strange name of "Butchak Soup" when he was very little. We don't even know why. Til this day we still call it that. |
