| In large frying pan melt butter and saute onoins, green pepper and broccoli for ten minutes. Sprinkle flour over sauted mixture, mix well. In a soup pot mix powdered soup into water. Add sauted mixture, parsley, bay leaf, salt & pepper. Cook covered for 40 minutes on low boil. Remove bay leaf. With a milk-shake machine or blender, puree the soup and strain back into soup pot.. Add the milk and heavy cream. Bring to almost boiling and take off heat. Garnish with grated cheese. Serves 6-8 |
