Cinnamon Bread
Braids or Loaves
1 Sweetdough recipe
1/2 C melted butter
1 C white sugar
Cinnamon
Prepare sweetdough recipe, let rise once.

Divide in half and each half into 3 equal balls. Roll out each ball into a rectangle, about 1 1/2' x 8".

Brush with melted butter. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over the entire piece. Roll the width of the piece tightly and pinch closed along the length.

Lay the three rolls next to each other very closely and start braiding from the middle outwards. Braid the other half to make a nice long tight braid. Pinch ends together and fold underneath.

Place on greased cookie sheet or parchment lined baking sheet. Cover with dry, clean cloth. Let rise for about an hour or until doubled in bulk. Brush with melted butter, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Preheat oven while the braid is rising.

Bake at 200 C until golden brown.

Two regular loaves can be made instead of braids;
Divide dough in half, roll each piece, brush with butter and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Roll back up and place in greased loaf tin to rise. Brush with butter again and sprinkle with sugar & cinnamon. Bake as above.
