Why? Well the problem I faced in 2004 was by gaining knowledge from the feb 2003 water test of 30lbs inside and outside total water build up for me. that knowing 7 to ll lbs was normal.. I knew I had at that time bad muscle damage that I suspect would act like a continuing sprain with swellings in my entire back of water. this however would not be the bulk of my fluid as the swelling was mainly in my adomen. before this my Gastro Dr. Razzaque diagnoised me with IBS and Leaky gut. a problem I could fight with a nutrional healing program. because I was always a health nut. I did not want outside pills to do anything. esp with my sad OTC pills after I learned of the thirty pounds. I had severe painful cramping in my leggs and chest area. I was sure this was a warning not to go this route. but searching onward caused me to see few had any real knowledge beyond a basic small amount. One book kept popping up all the time. I was sure she had answer to the fluids problems I had. could teach me. but in 2003 I was no way paying the small fee which to me was higher than the book itself to get the book from england to me. by the time in spring I had an eye exam. it stated severe vision loss. not minor. and she said nerves or fluid could cause it. as I mention I had researched this by web and my doctor Razzaque. she said she seen this done. it takes years to undo. she said she seen it where a patients of her partial restored their vision or restored all of it depending upon nerve damage. because of her input. it made me realize this was a lifestyle change. and I needed more. so to the webs with knowledge of my doctors to aide me. yet no where was complete. they wanted money for their books and many did not list what they could do. colon cleanse was what my doctor suggested. it would also get rid of my spare tire. as I would heal my intestine large and small to operated more smoothly. I felt this was however part of the picture. because of my leaking pores. which my doctor did not tell me why this occured to me. Linda's Waterfall Diet stood out in a dark web. I order it and never regreted it. I was tall at five foot seven and oddly a quarter inch from my accident was alittle taller, and usual thinner in midsection. I was tired of being congratulated for my coming baby. |

the whole book overall was a perfect choice. chapter one explained in detail I understood as could fluid be my problem. and I saw by: my shoes size being very big. my ring fingers would swell, my tummy was swollen, my ankles were not swollen. my weight was a battle to lose. I lost earlyin life easily dancing several hours of fast music to have 7lb loss of weight. in my thirties It would be the same. however steroid always effected me and I noticed on burst it was harder to lose weight. this I feel is in part due to my rare lymph edema. (uncomfirmed) but I know I got it. I learned the complex problem could for some people be one body system causing it. for others I would learn of more than one body system. it was individualized and I was convinced to shared this knowledge I was learning with my friens who as I told them of it. as its easy to read and for me at that time I was a faster reader. they all wanted to have it. some went out of their way to get the book. and could order it from borders. for the lower price. I was happy they lost. all of them said it was hard for their as each was using their individual diet assesment problems and coming up with help for them. but I remained the worst one . no water loss. bur I was determined to undo the damage.
why each chapter started with a Questionaire was to individual Linda program. many people did not get this until they read the book. Linda explained why fat loss diet for fluid retention suffers failed. and the loss medical testing done, or doctors ability to diagnois it by sight. I learned more of body fat, Hormoone imbalace, role of water, how and where fluid accumulate, disease which doctors recognize only and are responsible for the website knowing only these conditions is my own research knowledge. if I could be retaining. since I was weight on the weight scale I have a photo in another area this was true. I had that answer. but for many they don't. do's and don'ts for fluid suffers only of why water pills did not work. explanation of anti-diuretic hormones in our body and others. |

Chapter two |

From chapter two I learned more of Allergic fluid retention and how my favorite foods could be turning me into a sponge. I certainly agreed with this as I felt I had celiac disease. and my diet needed more fiber for the IBS. I read of my swollen belly, and shoe size changes. this gave more medical explaination in terms I easily understood. I realized why their were three phases of the diet. the food intolerance checker was Phase one and why its so important to start here. body fat, hormone imbalance, role of water were talked in detail, Vicious circle of intestinal irritation and leaky gut from antibiotics which I assumed yes were me due to my many episode of infection with poor lungs. I learned why ordinary food can be causing fluid to accuate, blood vessels role and cappilaries role in leaking. I learned how about digestive juices, process. digestion has to be very poor to see ungiested particles in my bm. and I had pieces of whole corn, large string of any veggie. I did not see meats or recognize breads but assum the bulk being that was it. I saw many illistrations which in chapter two showed a healthy intestinal lining and a leaky gut. made sense to me. I found case studies and further medical works for that chapter discussions. yes it read like a easy to read medical text book. explaining everything was part of the principal Linda uses in her questionair so you can evaluate yourself. and thus plan your water fight plan. eating yogurt and pith or oranges was a regular for me. Acidophilus, fiber were my choices here. |

Chapter three |

the First time I read Chapter three was a chapter I skipped in evaluating my diet. its was protein. and later I would go back and see why from my own blood test results why this chapter was actual a benefit to me. I Highly recommend knowing your blood levels. just don't let the doctors moniter you. be actively involved and get a copy of every test done to you. later if you ask they will charge you. I learned how to not only protien amounts acceptable to my body. but that my years as a body builder after my daughter was born was influencing my meat consumption. I learned how protien deficiency was in third countries and liver patients where they had little arms and leggs. but fluid suffers many had no visible sign as the entire body was filled giving a normal and misleading appearance. if this is true. one day I hope to say I am one of them that are not rare edema. but getting medicine to do it. ( Yeah right). I saw their were several forms of deficiency. and learned about them. I had decrease sex drive, weak thin flaking nails very fatigued. so this diet orginal skipped I later in 2005 went back and put in all its nutritional supplements as well. Rice and lentil beans were helpful in adding to my diet choices. limited meats, going to low sugar, salt food was easy. later the doctor would go further with caffine free , and low to no fat foods. |
