Lone Hearts
Flame and Falcon's Story
Revenge
Flame froze at the sound of footsteps on the outside corridor. She stared at the door praying they wouldn't stop outside of it. To her relief they didn't. She heard a door handle turn in the silence, and new it was to the room next to hers. The sudden screaming brought tears to her emerald eyes. She hated being back here. If she hadn't have been outside, upset and alone she never would be. She was usually so careful. Why had this time been so different? Because she'd had a fight with Falcon. Because she wasn't thinking straight. She drew her knees to her chest and began rocking backwards and forwards. The screaming had lessened now. She prayed that she could help the poor girl, but how? She couldn't get out. And if she drew attention to herself she'd be next.
Flame glanced into a small mirror, that hung beside an old wardrobe. She looked tired, her hair was knotted, her clothes wrinkled. She looked like a thrown away old, rag doll. She swiftly brushed her hair, and slipped into a pair of black jeans, and a long sleeved sapphire top. Taking a deep breath she walked from her room.
She stood in front of the closed door to the room next to hers. Flame lifted her hand slowly, pounding on the hard wood. She could hear, the long, tired sobs from inside, she didn't hesitate. Flame opened the door and walked into the small room. Her eyes searched the room. Finally settling on a huddled up young girl of no more than 15, who sat pressed against her head board. Her knees were drawn tightly against her chest, her arms wrapped about them as if protecting herself, tears viciously rolled down her cheeks.
Flame's eyes lit with anger at seeing the girls torn night dress, that was covered in dark, red patch's of blood. He'd pay. Flame promised herself, she'd make him pay. Slowly she approached the bed, and lowered herself on the edge, beside the brown haired girl. She looked up then. Pain and bewilderment filled her brown eyes. Flame slid a comforting arm around her shoulders.
"It's going to be okay." She whispered softly. "Me and a few others are leaving here tonight. I have some friends who are going to be waiting for me, if you want to come, we'll help, give you a place to stay." The girl silently nodded in response. Flame wasn't even sure the poor thing had even herd most of what she'd said.  "I'm Flame by the way, what's your name?" She continued softly.
"Tira." She roughly wiped the tears from her eyes. Hiccuping back a sob.
"You go and wait next door in my room. You can choose something of mine to wear. While I gather your things." Tira nodded and stood, she began to sob again, seeing the red blood stain on the white bed covers.
"Go!" Flame ordered, anger raging violently in her eyes. Tira obeyed immediately, leaving the room.
Flame hurriedly, stuffed Tira's clothes into a small blue rucksack. She turned to stare at the dark, red stain on the covers. She suddenly saw Lola in her mind, violently shaking, dried blood splashed on her torn clothes. She shook her head forcing the image from her mind, he'd done the same to Lola and now Tira, she new there were more and vowed to make him pay.

Falcon stared at the picture in his hand. Flame looked so happy then, so did he. He continued to study the picture that was taken just over two years before. They were at a local dance that had been held to mark some important event. He recalled how much he'd been dreading it. He and Flame had had a huge argument a week before and he'd been miserable. Julia his mother had talked him into going.
He walked into the town hall with a face like thunder. They'd been several women there that he recognised and weren't with anyone. He new that Rose had wanted to dance with him. She was pretty. With long strawberry blond hair, and pale blue eyes. But she wasn't Flame. He'd searched the entire room for her but she hadn't been there. He'd wanted to leave, to go home and mope. But he new Josh wouldn't allow him to. Josh had been sent by there mother to make sure that Falcon would enjoy himself. Not that Josh had minded. That was the night he first met Rea.
Falcon stared around him at the dancing couples. He'd danced once with Berry the local vicars daughter. She was a sweet girl, hadn't a bad thing to say about anyone. He felt a soft hand on his shoulder and slowly turned around. He thought maybe it was Rose she'd been watching him all night. He was ready to politely excuse himself, when he turned to face the women behind him. He sucked in his breath. Rose wasn't standing before him. Flame was.
She looked amazing. She was wearing a short, black dress that clung to every curve of her slender form. Her hair hung loosely falling over her slender shoulders. She smiled softly, her emerald eyes sparkling.
"Well are you going to stand there all night? Or are you going to ask me to dance?" Flame grinned at him. She'd missed him this past week. It had been a night mare. She hated fighting with him.
"Flame would you like to dance with me." He smiled, holding out his hand.
"I suppose you'll do." She laughed, excepting his hand and allowing him to lead her onto the dance floor. The music had slowed. Falcon drew Flame into his arms, her head resting on his chest.
She felt so good in his arms. He could still feel her as if she was here with him. He prayed she was safe.

Flame had been the one to come up with the idea of placing masking tape over the weak lock on her bedroom door. Jesse had relived the keys to some of the room doors from one of the male staff, by shamelessly flirting with him earlier that day. Once the four of them were out of there rooms, they had managed to elude the prying eyes of the security camera's. It was late when Jesse, Flame, Michael and Tira arrived at the entrance of the orphanage.
"Hand me the keys." Jesse ordered her bright auburn hair bouncing off her shoulders as she spun around to look at Michael, who was a short lanky boy with sandy brown hair.
"I don't have them." His face grew pale as he recalled leaving them in the lock on Tira's door.
"What are we going to do? I can't stay, I can't." Tira had grown paler than Michael, her lips had turned into a scared frown, her brown eyes were filled with fear and pain.
"You wont have to." Flame remarked, calmly. She stood silently for a long moment then turned towards the others.  "We have to go through the window. Jesse hand me that peace of wood." Jesse swiftly handed Flame the broken chair leg, which she had taken from the old desk chair in her room. "Stand back." Flame ordered, her heart pounding wildly, she could feel the hard wood clutched firmly in her hands. She swung it back, then through it hard as she could against the window pain, the glass shattered, fragments flying to the floor. The alarm echoed through out the building.
In seconds they'd be swamped with guards and care workers. "Hurry." Flame watched as one by one they climbed through the shattered window. Tira first, followed by Jesse, then Michael and finally Flame followed, her hands trembling as she herd the pounding feet on the stairs, the screaming from Mrs. Ellis who was in charge of the orphanage and it's occupants.
Flame scrambled through the window falling on to the long grass on the other side, she rose to her feat, following the others to the tall wire fence. Jesse lifted the padlock just as Flame reached them. Jesse turned to  Flame realising she wouldn't have time to pick the lock, a skill her cousin had taught her before he was sent to prison.
"You have to climb Flame." A tall blond girl with bright red ends at the tips of her hair, yelled from the other side of the fence. Flame glanced briefly at Celia then Lola who arrived next to her flashing a small smile. She helped the others on to the fence, then began to climb as fast as she could. She had almost reached the top, when she felt a strong hand close around her ankle. She violently began to kick at it. Struggling as she swung her leg over the top of the fence, suddenly she lost her balance. Flame felt herself falling. Felt the hard ground as she crashed against it. She felt something hard against her head. Her vision grew hazy. She herd some one yell from the other side of the fence.
Celia was the first to reach Flame. She fell to her knees beside her. Jesse was next. The two of them quickly helped Flame to her feet. They hurried up the hill towards a cluster of small trees where the gang was awaiting them.
"Come on Flame, you have to hurry. Falcon and the others are waiting for us." Flame's head spun wildly, her feet stumbled forwards, struggling to keep control.
"Falcon came?" Her voice was almost a whisper as she continued to stumble forwards. She'd been sure he was still angry about there fight, and wouldn't come but she was wrong, he was here for her like he always was.
"He was worried about you. He's been so afraid for you. He's stayed at the boarding school in your room since you were caught." Celia didn't say more. She wasn't even certain that Flame had herd her.
They reached the top of the hill. Celia looked back to see the gate being unlocked. They'd be swamped in minutes. She saw some of the gang members hurrying over to them. Falcon was the first to reach them. His gaze was immediately drawn to Flame. She was pale, her eyes tightly closed.
"Oh god, Flame what happened?" Falcon felt fear fill him. What had happened to her? His hand reached out, stroking her cheek.
"She's hit her head." Celia explained continuing to support Flame against her shoulder.
"We have to go." Falcon herd Hawk and turned to see him and the others gathering everyone into the van.
Falcon lightly stroked Flame's forehead his blue eyes flashing with concern. He swiftly lifted her into his arms.
"I'll take her to mine. Mum will take care of her." He hurried to a small jeep where, Josh his older brother and Rea one of the gang waited for him. Lola and Celia exchanged looks then hurried to the van. Flame would be safe with Falcon.

Flame's eyes flickered open. Her emerald gaze quickly sort out Falcon's worried face. His eyes stared at her intently, he was sitting on the edge of the bed beside her. His hand reached out lightly touching her cheek.
"Falcon." She felt tears sting her eyes. She wasn't dreaming. Her eyes were still hazy but she new he was with her. "I'm so sorry for what I said before. I was angry and I ..." Falcon's finger pressed against her lips. He barely recalled the argument it had been there first fight since the dance. It hadn't been about anything in particular, but it had ended with them both saying things that weren't true. "Forget it. It doesn't matter now." He smiled softly at her.
"Falcon. Tira was raped, you have to tell Lola she'll help her." Flame felt her eyes grow heavier she couldn't believe how tired she suddenly felt.
"Flame were you ... did he rape you?" It hurt so much to ask, he didn't know what he'd do if they'd hurt her. He never wanted to let her out of his sight again.
"No. They didn't touch me." Flame lifted her hand, her fingers stroking over his jaw. God she'd missed him.
"Thank god." He whispered under his breath. He took her hand in his stilling it. "You have to rest now." He bent his head, his lips lightly brushing her forehead. "I'll always be here for you." He whispered against her temple.
Shivers flowed freely through her body, his loving words touching her heart. She wanted to reach up, press her lips to his. She wanted to show him how sorry she was for what she'd said. But she couldn't seem to move her whole body felt heavy, her eyes wouldn't open, no matter how much she willed them too. She found herself falling into a deep, relaxing sleep.
Slowly Flame opened her eyes. She felt strangely rested liked she'd been sleeping for an eternity. A small smile played on her lips, her eyes focusing on Falcon. He sat on the edge of the bed, his hand closed around hers.
"How are you feeling?" She saw the concern in his eyes, and continued to smile up at him. She new he hadn't left her side, he wouldn't until he new she was safe.
"Better now, thanks. What time is it?" She touched her fingers to the dull ache in her temple.
"It's 11:30." He stood and walked to the open windows that led on to the balcony. What are you thinking Falcon? She asked silently. She watched him staring at the bright sky.
"I should get going, I didn't realise it was so late." She swung her legs around off the side of the bed and stood. Regretting it instantly. The whole room began to spin around her faster and faster. The dull ache was now a throbbing pain. Her heart pounded wildly as she fell forward into Falcon's strong arms.
"Are you okay?" His breath was worm against her neck.
"Yeah, I guess I stood up to quickly." Slowly he pulled slightly away from her, he wrapped his strong arm around her waste and helped her back to the bed.
"Mum said you might feel a little dizzy for a few days. She said you have to rest for at least three days."
"Three days? Falcon I can't I..." He raised a finger pressing it to her lips. Stopping her protest. He knew how stubborn she could be, but there was no way he was going to let her leave, not without making certain she was fully recovered.
"I called Sky. I told her you'd be staying here for a while. She asked me to tell you that Michael said thanks, and that he's going to stay at his sisters. He can hide there until she can adopt him. I told her about Tira and she's going to ask Lola to talk to her. So there's no need for you to go anywhere."
"Falcon please. I'll be fine." She pulled herself up in bed, struggling with the light headed dizziness she felt.
"You're staying here. Even if I have to tie you to the bed." His voice was strong and she new she wouldn't win this fight.
"Sounds like an interesting idea." She smiled. A light blush creeping on her cheeks. He returned her smile.
"Sky's coming tomorrow to bring you some clothes. You should get some sleep." He swiftly changed the subject, he couldn't think about Flame in his bed it would drive him crazy, and he new she was deliberately teasing him.
He lifted his hand to her head. "You've got temperature, I'll get you aspirin." He swiftly turned and headed for the open door.
"Falcon." He halted, turning to look at her. "Thanks." She smiled.

Flame bolted upright in bed, her head throbbing. She pressed her palm against her temple. Her eyes rapidly searching around the room, unsure where she was for a long moment. Then she new. Her eyes focused on the old bedside table. That same table had been in the same room for over 16 years. It was old full of graffiti including a small heart carved inside 'Flame and Falcon friends forever.' She smiled lightly running her fingers over the carved heart.
"Can I come in?" Flame's eyes darted to the open doorway. A young woman with chest nut hair stood in the entrance, a small child cradled in her arms.
"Sky, course Hi." Sky smiled and hurried into the room. She lay her 3 month old  daughter on the bed next to her.
"I brought you some clothes. How are you feeling?"
"I'm a little dazed nothing that I hasn't happened before." Sky shuddered recalling Flame's accident a month before. She'd been in a fight and had been badly beaten. Flame had been unconscious for three long days. Sky shook her head banishing the memory from her mind.
"How's Tira? She was so shaken up last night, not that I blame her." Flame's voice grew cold as she recalled the pale white face and the torn clothes.
"Lola talked to her, she cried herself to sleep, poor thing. She's only fifteen. She deserves so much better. Still she can start to put it behind her now." Flame observed the anger in Sky's eyes, she was right Lola and Tira neither of them deserved it. Sky stared down at her tiny daughter, who had no idea what kind of world she'd been brought into.
Falcon stood facing the closed door. Sky had left nearly an hour before, he new he should let Flame get some rest but be desperately wanted to see her. To reassure himself that she was still there and safe. A few minutes wouldn't hurt. He told himself silently. He lifted his fist to the hard wood, and lightly banged against it. He waited a few minutes but no reply, he felt fear fill him. What if she'd gone out? What if she'd been taken back to the orphanage?
With out another thought Falcon's hand was on the door handle, he shoved it open. Relief washing through him as he saw her lying asleep on the bed. He silently walked into the room, closing the door behind him.
Falcon strolled over to the bed. He lowered himself on the edge to sit beside Flame. Flame's auburn hair spilled over her face, her head resting on her hands. How could he have been so blind? His head began smoothing her tangled hair from her soft cheek. She's looked so beautiful, and he was crazy about her. He wondered how he could have been so blind as he continued gazing down at her pale face. Why couldn't he tell her how he felt? Because he could loose her? He ran his fingers through her soft auburn hair. Falcon bent his head and placed a kiss on her forehead. Soon. He'd tell her soon.
"You're looking much better, sweetheart." Julia stood in the door way a huge smile plastered on her lips. Flame stared up at the older woman who she'd known all her life, it had never occurred to her before, but Julia hardly looked like either of her sons. She had dark brown eyes, where both Falcon and Josh had deep blue eyes, her hair was soft brown, where Falcon had a very deep brown, almost black and Josh's was raven. Flame guessed they must have inherited their looks from their father.
Flame had known their father until she was four. But she couldn't remember him. he'd left shortly after Falcon's fourth birth day. Josh had been six and had taken it badly, he remembered his father but Falcon didn't. Flame new it hurt him, he'd seen very few photos and Julia disliked to talk about him. Flame guessed it still hurt her even after all these years.
"I feel it, thanks to you and Falcon." Flame pulled herself up in bed. Feeling a slight wave of dizziness but managing to contain it.
"It was mainly Falcon. He never left your side once. Not until he was sure you were okay. I remember when you were nine and had influenza. Do you remember? Your mum and dad had gone to Austin. They were so disappointed that you couldn't go. Falcon had assured them he'd take care of you and he did.
He wouldn't leave you side for a moment, he insisted that you needed him. I tried to get him to leave you for a while, but he refused. He told me that he didn't want you to get scared, that you needed him." Julia smiled at the memory, he hadn't changed he'd always been protective over Flame, she guessed it was because they'd been best friends, but they were more than that now. Julia wasn't blind she new they were growing up, she also new how they felt about each other, even if they didn't yet.
"Yeah I remember." Flame grinned back at Julia. He'd been so worried about her. Anything she'd wanted he'd got for her.
"You should be resting." Flame's eyes flew to the door, Falcon stood in the entrance his arms folded firmly across his chest. Why hadn't she herd him? She quickly finished pinning her glorious red hair in a tight bun at the nape of her neck.
"Don't start. I'm going out of my mind in this room. I feel like the walls are closing in on me. Besides Sky told me about a fight, it's important." She began to sway slightly where she stood, she was forced to sit back down. She cursed silently.
"They can do without you. Besides you're not well. Look at you Flame, you're likely to get yourself killed." She glared at him, Dam him why was he always right?
Slowly Falcon knelt in front of her placing his hand on her shoulder. She was stubborn, too stubborn for her own good.
"Why don't I take you too the beach tomorrow." She tried to hide a small smile but failed, she wanted him to think she was angry at him, but she couldn't help but smile at the thought. The last time they'd been to the beach together was over five maybe six years ago and she missed it. She missed all the time that they used to spend together.
"Okay, but you have to promise. We enjoy ourselves, you can't spend the whole time fretting over me." He nodded, a compromise with Flame was the best way of settling an argument. It was probably the only way."Why don't I take you too the beach tomorrow." She tried to hide a small smile but failed, she wanted him to think she was angry at him, but she couldn't help but smile at the thought.
It was probably the only way.

The gentle breeze washed over the small yellow grains of sand. Waves crashed, ferociously against the shore. Seagulls circled in the sky, diving occasionally into the ocean.
Flame stared at the wide ocean, she could feel Falcon's gaze burning into her skin. He stood behind her his eyes transfixed on her glorious auburn hair, her long black skirt moulding about her hips. She turned suddenly, those beautiful emerald eyes flashing in the dimming sunlight.
"It's quiet isn't it." Falcon stared at her pale lips, he wanted desperately to kiss her. He'd wanted it for so long now.
"Yeah." He whispered averting his gaze.
"I remember coming here when we were little. " A smile curved at the corners of her lips. She lowered herself on to a blanket.
"You were 10 I'd just turned 11." Slowly he walked over to her, slumping on the sand beside her.
"My parents brought us here. It was just after Marie your dog ran away." Flame continued to smile, sitting beside Falcon. She recalled the bright summers day they spent together just over 6 years before.
"We both loved that dog."
"I remember crying for hours when my mum told me she'd gone. You were the only one who could make me feel better." He heard the hurt in her voice, saw the flash of pain in her eyes when she mentioned her mother.
"You miss them don't  you?"
"It's strange even now, sometimes when I'm at your house I still expect them to be home waiting for  me. Instead there are strangers living in their home."  Tears welled up in her eyes as she spoke.
"Hey it's okay." Falcon whispered softly against her ear, his arms drawing her against him.
"When they died I remember you holding me like this until I fell asleep. You've always been there for me." Slowly she turned in his arms to face him. Her eyes meeting his.
"You've always been a good friend to me to." He felt a strange feeling low in his stomach.
"I hope we're more than that." She lightly tugged her fingers through his dark hair, her lips inches from his. He closed the gap between them his mouth finding hers. She opened her mouth slightly allowing his tongue to enter meeting hers.  Flame closed her arms around his neck their lips locked in a tender kiss.
Reluctantly Falcon pulled back his hand cupping her chin.
"It's turning cold, we should get home." He muttered his lips once again drawn to hers.

Flame stood on the high balcony staring at the darkened city. Miles and Miles of houses and skyscrapers could be seen from this one window. Her auburn hair broke from it's confining bun to fly freely in the wind.
"Beautiful isn't it?" Falcon's arms closed tightly around her waste, his chin lightly pressed on her shoulder. His lips pressing gently against her neck, sending shivers coursing through her body. She leaned back against his strong chest.
"I think I should go home tomorrow." She tried not to think of his worm breath, his soft lips on her bare skin. "I can't stay here forever. Josh said one of the social workers for the home came round to see if you'd heard from me. I can't go back especially now."
Flame turned in his arms. Her mouth closing over his. Her arms came up to wrap around his neck. His hands stroked down her back, to cup bottom lifting her, fitting her against him. She moved her head back, her eyes dazed, her breathing harsh as she looked at him.
"What do you say about us becoming a real couples?" Her eyes cast over the neatly made bed. She didn't hesitate. She'd wanted him for so long now. She'd never been more sure about anything in her life.
"You don't know how much I want to, but mum's gonna look in on you later. And I can just image her face if she saw us ?" Flame grinned despite her disappointment. Though she was sure after the shock Julia would be ecstatic that they were together.
"Maybe another time." She tried to hide the disappointment in her voice but failed.
"I'll hold you to that." He placed a light kiss on her mouth before leaving.
"Hey. You're looking much better." Julia's smile beamed at her from the door way.
"I feel great." Flame agreed her smile almost as wide as Julia's. Slowly Julia walked to the bed she lowered herself to sit on the edge.
"It's great to see you smile again, although I can't help but wonder if my son has something to do with it." Julia asked a knowing look in her eyes. Flame felt her cheeks begin to burn with embarrassment.
"Me and Falcon we're together." Julia lent forward wrapping her arms around Flame. "All I can say is it's about time. The two of you were made for each other. Your mother and father thought so too. They'd be so proud of you." Julia released her grip on Flame and moved back a little to look at her.
"Do you really think so?"
"I know so."

Flame tossed and turned in the dark room. It had been along time since she'd had a sleepless night. She herd foot steps out side the closed door. Herd the handle turn. Her eyes darted towards the opening door. She shot up her back pressed against her pillows. She watched as the door continued to open. She blinked for a moment at the sudden light that was now beaming into the room.
Falcon stood in the door way his eyes immediately darting to the long out line of the women in bed. Slowly he walked in to the darkened room and quietly closed the door. The moonlight beamed through the tall balcony doors lighting up the room. Silently he moved to the long bed. Lowering himself on the edge beside her.
"Hey." Falcon whispered softly his hand reaching out to lightly touch her flowing auburn hair.
"Hey yourself." A small smile crossed her lips.
"I couldn't sleep. So I wondered if this could be another time." His hand slowly stroked her flushed cheek. He couldn't believe how beautiful she was. Her emerald eyes flickering in the moonlight. Her auburn hair flowed loosely over her slender shoulders. The thin velvet straps of her white night dress clung tightly to her shoulders.
Falcon's head bent, his mouth seeking hers. His tongue gently gliding into her mouth deepening the kiss. Flame felt a low worm feeling in her belly, the soft of feeling you get when you're nervous. Only this wasn't nerves. She wanted him more than she'd ever wanted anything in her life.
Reluctantly she pulled away breaking the kiss. She hurried off the bed, moving over to the closed door turning the key in the lock.
"So we don't get interrupted." Flame whispered. Falcon stood now only inches away from her. His lips met hers in a tender kiss.
"I never guessed that you'd be the one I'd fall in love with but you are. I love you Flame." Falcon whispered his thumb gently stroking Flame's slender chin.
"I love you too." Flame smiled her fingers sliding to the buttons on the front of his shirt.  She quickly unfastened the buttons her eyes fixed on his now naked muscled chest. Her hands moved to the buckle on his trousers. She watched them fall to the floor, revealing his hard flesh.
Falcon's shaking hands moved to the straps of Flame's long night dress his heart pounding as he smoothed the straps from her shoulders watching the material flow over the curves of her body to the floor. His dark eyes studied her shivering bare flesh, burrowing into her.
Flame took a deep breath and walked into his open arms, their bodies pressed tightly against each other. Her lips met his, her mouth opening slightly to allow his tongue to probe the warmth of her mouth. He pressed her back against the cold wall lifting her legs to wrap around him. Kissing her slender neck, he carried her to the bed. He pressed her into the mattress his body came above hers. His lips tracing patterns along her neck.
Falcon moved slower his hands stroking over her breasts. Her back arched against his touch wanting more. She felt her face grow warm, flushing with embarrassment. She wondered if Falcon had noticed in the dim light but if he had he didn't comment on it.
She began stroking her hands over his strong chest tangling her fingers in the dark hair that narrowed at his navel. Her hand stroked lower until she was touching him. He jerked at her touch. Struggling to gain control of himself. His hands slid to her thighs. He heard her gasp as his finger entered her, his thumb stroking her flesh. She tried to jerk away from him, her face flushing. He pressed his hand against her stomach stilling her.
"Hush love. Just relax."
"I can't it's embarrassing."
"Trust me." His finger entered her again. She held herself still her eyes tightly closed.
Flame's hips began to jerk with his touch, she could feel something building inside of her. Something new. She cried out unable to help herself. Her fingers dug into his shoulders as she cried out again, her body tensed, her breathing heavy as she reached her climax. Falcon came back above her, his knee parting her thighs. His mouth cupping over hers.
Falcon smoothed her damp, tangled hair from her cheek. He lowered himself between her thighs, urging himself to go slower. He smiled at her then thrust himself into her. His hands cupped her hips drawing him deeper, he could feel her stretching to accommodate him. He felt her tense as he began to drive through her maiden head. He wanted to stop to look at her, reassure her, but he was almost beyond himself. He drove deeper tearing through the thin barrier. She screamed feeling strong wave of burning deep inside her. She twisted beneath him, desperate for the pain to stop. She pushed against him, willing him to let her go.
Falcon grabbed her wrists pinning them on the pillow above her. He pressed her body into the mattress with his. She turned her head to one side, tears spilling down her flushed cheeks. She felt Falcon tense above her, his body shuddering wildly as he spilled himself inside her. She herd his low moan erupting from deep in his throat. He collapsed on top of her. His head against her neck on the pillow. She could feel his worm breath against her neck. Flame remained still beneath him, her eyes fixed on the outline of the beside table.
Falcon slowly drew himself above her, to rest on his elbows. He stared down at her. Flame's face was averted away from his. He cupped her chin in the palm of his hand, and turned her head to face him, his eyes searching hers.
"I'm sorry I hurt you." He whispered softly and began to withdraw from her.
"No please." Falcon herd her plead in a quiet voice. Her arms tightened about his back Holding him against her.
"It's okay. I wont hurt you." Her arms continued to tighten around his back.
"I don't want you to leave me not yet please Falcon." He gently smoothed the tangled hair from her cheeks and lightly kissed her forehead. "I wont." He whispered lightly against her ear. "Just relax." He drew her closer to him.
Falcon waited until her breathing became even before withdrawing himself from her. He stared down at her naked body, her long thighs were still spread. She was still wet from his seed and her virgin's blood. He drew the worm covers over her. Kissing her forehead.
Flame's eyes flickered open as she heard the thundering rain outside the closed window. A small smile played on her lips. She turned on her side her arm reaching out, hitting the cool bedcovers. Her eyes darted around the dull room, but there was no sign of Falcon. Her smile disappeared. She climbed out of bed. Staring down at the blood stained cover. She knelt picking up her discarded night dress. She pulled it over her head.
Flame sat on the edge of the clean bed sheets, her long wet hair hung loosely over her shoulder as she began to brush out the tangles. She didn't turn when she heard the door opening and closing. She continued to concentrate on the tangles in her damp auburn hair. She felt the bed give as Falcon sat beside her.
"Hi." He said softly placing his hand on the silk, white material covering her shoulder.
"Hi." Flame repeated her voice cold, anger in her emerald eyes as she turned to look at him.
Falcon didn't seem to notice the bitterness in her voice. His hand moved from her shoulder to lightly brushed her cheek. She hated herself for wanting him to continue to touch her. "How do you feel?" His voice remained soft and caring his fingers lightly stroking over her cheek.
"Sore." She snapped averting her head. His hand fell away.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Falcon asked softly, cupping her chin between his fingers. Forcing her to face him. He saw the tears glistening in her eyes. God he prayed she didn't regret giving herself to him. He bit his lips awaiting her reply.
"You weren't here this morning and I ..." She paused roughly wiping the unwanted tears from her cheeks.
"You thought that I'd used you? God Flame I'm so sorry, it took all of my strength to leave you this morning. I didn't want mum to catch me here. I didn't want her knowing she'd be watching us all the time. And I didn't think we'd ever have a minute alone. But I do want you. I don't want you ever thinking that I don't. Last night meant everything to me, you mean everything to me. I love you Flame. I love you so much." Flame's arms flew around his neck, her head resting on his shoulder. His arms tightened around her back. She was his now and he'd never let her go.

Flame strolled through the entrance of the huge boarding school. She was greeted by Sky, Hawk and Hawk's younger sister Celia.
"Hey, you look really refreshed." Celia hugged her tightly.
"I feel it." She grinned unable to hide the soft gleam in her eyes. She wondered if she looked any different to them.
"It's good to have you back." Hawk hugged Flame. Then Sky hugged her.
"Lola can't wait to see you. She's been worried about you. Though I assured her Falcon would be taking excellent care of you." Celia teased a knowing smile crossed her lips. Flame blushed as the memory of the previous night came flooding back in to her mind.
"How are things with you and Falcon?" Sky asked seating herself beside Flame on the soft bed her young daughter cradled in her arms.
"Things have never been better. We made love last night. It was my first time." Flame flushed slightly at the confession.
"That's great from the first time I saw the two of you together, I knew you were meant for each other. I'm not the only one who thought so." Flame stared down at little Ember.
"Oh, no." Flame gasped her eyes wide. She stared blankly at Sky.
"What?"
"We, I didn't take anything to stop me getting pregnant. I never even thought about it till now. How could I have been so stupid?" She asked more herself than Sky. Cupping her head in her hands she began to sob.
"It's okay. It takes people 2, 3 maybe even more times to get pregnant the chances are you not." Sky said reassuringly after all she hadn't fell pregnant until after at least her third time with Hawk.
"You're right. I'm just over reacting there's nothing to worry about." Flame prayed she was right she was too young to have a child. She wasn't as strong as Sky.
Hawk gathered the gang in the main entrance hall explaining about an up coming fight.
"Tira, Lola, Jesse and Zack will stay behind. Tira and Jesse still need to work on there fighting skills." Hawk announced luckily the gang they were set to fight only consisted of 10 maybe 11 members so the whole gang wouldn't be required to fight. "Also Brady, Tally and Ember need some one to look after them."
"I will." Tara volunteered she didn't really want to be around the others not right now. She still missed Tom even after a year, and especially now.
"Thanks Tara." Sky paused and turned to face Flame. "We think Flame should stay behind too."
"You've gotta be kidding." Flame objected. She'd missed fighting the gangs the past few weeks and couldn't wait to get back into it.
"We think you need some time to recover. We think you should wait another week or two before you fight again." Flame looked from Sky to Hawk knowing there was no chance of winning this argument.
"Okay, one week."

Flame stood staring at the closed door to Tara's room, Ember was cradled in her arms. Something was wrong. It had been for a while now. At first she'd thought that Tara missed Tom. Then she'd gone away for a while. When she'd returned a couple of months back she'd been so distant. Tara had spent most of her time in her room. She'd also moved to the top floor, away from the rest of the gang.
Flame lifted her hand slightly and banged on the door. Tara answered a few moments later. She didn't open the door fully just enough for her head to peer around the door.
"Hi." Tara spoke quietly. Something was definitely wrong. "What can I do for you Flame?" Flame stared at her friend. The woman she'd known for a long time.
"I came to see if everything was okay."
"Yeah of course why wouldn't it be?" Tara forced a smile. Flame herd something then a tiny cry. She looked down at Ember who was fast asleep in her arms. Tara looked scared. Of what? The cry came again. Louder this time and from inside the room. Tara's eyes closed a moment. She opened them again and moved away from the door. She turned and walked over to a small crib nestled at the side of her bed.
Flame followed her into the room, the door closing behind her. Her eyes fixed on Tara who now stood in the centre of the room holding a tiny child not much older than Ember.
"What's going on?" Flame asked almost silently looking at the child.
"She's mine. Mine and Tom's." Tara slumped onto the bed, feeding the child a bottle. "When I went away, I was 3 months pregnant, and terrified. I tried to find Tom but I couldn't. I was to ashamed to come back until she was born.
I thought about giving her away, but when I saw her, held her everything just felt right. She was mine. I couldn't let someone else raise her, I'm her mum. No one could love her like I do.
When I arrived back I hid her as best I could.  I didn't want the others to find out about her. She's four nearly five months old." Flame stared into Tara's green eyes. She'd had no idea.
"What's her name?" She asked softly.
"Brie."
"I didn't know that you and Tom were sleeping together."
"We weren't. The night he left he came to my room. I let him. I was a virgin. Tom was so sweet to me, I've wanted him for years. But I knew immediately that I'd made a mistake. I love Tom. But he doesn't love me. I was so stupid. Only a few weeks before I'd found him in bed with another women. But I thought if I gave myself to him, that I could make him love me. How wrong can someone be?" Tara lowered Brie into her crib, smiling at her sleeping daughter.
"Where did you go to have Brie?"
"A hotel. I didn't plan it. I went into labour and it was the first place I came to. There was a doctor there. He and his wife or at least that's what he claimed she was, were staying over for the weekend. He was in the bar when I arrived. I spent three days in hospital and then returned here."
"I wished you'd have told me. I could've helped." Flame placed her hand on Tara's shoulder.
"I didn't want help, I wanted Tom. I was so stupid. I should have told you. But I thought maybe if I found Tom then I'd be okay." Tara laughed harshly. "I don't know maybe he wouldn't have welcomed me or the knowledge that I was pregnant."
"Where did you go?"
"To his parents. It was a long shot, but I wasn't showing then so I thought it was worth a try. He wasn't there, they hadn't herd from him since he left. I got the impression that his dad didn't care. He was drunk when I turned up. Tom's mum was sweet she was upset that he hadn't been back to see her. She was pleased to hear that he'd been doing okay. She told me that maybe he was at his cousins. She seemed scared that she was talking to me, so I didn't stay long.
I went to see Roarke his cousin. He'd herd from Tom a post card, but he had no idea where he was. He said Tom might get in touch again, he wanted to know if he could give him a message for me. I wanted to leave one. But how could I? What would I have said? Yeah could you tell Tom that Tara called and that she's pregnant? I don't think so. Roarke let me stay there for a few days then I moved on. I ask him not to tell Tom that I was there. Tell me I did the right thing." Flame placed Ember on the bed and hugged Tara.
  "I'm sure he'll be back."
"No. I don't think so. He's probably with someone new by now. I'm probably the last thing on his mind. I've got to learn to forget him. And as for little Brie, I'm gonna love her, and make sure she never wants for anything. I know it wont make up for her not having a daddy but I'm going to do my best."

Flame slumped on her bed. She was exhausted. Sky and the others had arrived back less than an hour ago shocked to see Tara with Brie. Tara hadn't told that she was Tom's though Flame was certain everyone new anyway.
Flame wished she could spend the night with Falcon. But she new she couldn't not tonight anyway.
Flame looked up at the banging on her bedroom door.
"Come in." She called quietly.
"Hi Flame." Tira stood in the doorway. Her light brown hair pinned in a bun at the nape of her neck. She looked a lot happier since the last time she'd seen her.
"Hi, How are you?" Flame asked a small smile emerging across her lips.
"I'm okay, I just wanted to thank you for getting me out of there. I don't know how I would have coped. Lola's been talking to me she's been great."
"I'm glad you've sorted things out. It's always better to have someone to talk to." Tira smiled. It had helped to talk to Lola.
Flame lay staring into the darkness. Her hand reached out when her mobile began to ring. She drew herself up in bed.
"Hello." She managed after a moment of silence.
"Hey, it's me I couldn't stop thinking about you." She smiled hearing Falcon's strong voice.
"Me too"
"I wish I was with you now."
"I wish you were here too."
"Why don't you come round tomorrow? We can watch one of those chick flicks you love some much."
"I'd like that."
"I've gotta go. I love you."
"I love you too." Flame smiled to herself placing the small silver phone back on the table. She lay back down smiling as she fell asleep.
Flame wandered into the kitchen around six the next morning. She grabbed a small bowl and filled it with some serial. She seated herself at the first table she came to.
"Hey." Celia said startling her. She pulled up a seat across from her.
"Sky told me about you and Falcon. Congratulations." Celia grinned placing her coffee on the table in front of her.
"Thanks." Flame smiled at her friend.
"I was surprised when you didn't after your kiss at the fair a few months back."
"We never really talked about it until we were on the beach and he kissed me. My stomach was doing somersaults." Flame's smile widened at the memory.
"Anyway how do you think Tira's holding up? She seemed a little on edge yesterday."
"She's been through a lot. I think she just needs some stability right now. She thought it was all her fault. Was he the same guy who raped Lola?"
"Yeah it was Don Robert's, I recognised him when I was escaping the other night. Someone should make him pay for what he's done." Flame said rage burning deep in her emerald eyes.
"People like that never get what's coming to them."
"Yeah well maybe he will." Flame replied icily.
Flame stared at the tall man sitting on the park bench. It was him the man who raped Lola and Tira. He was talking to a tall smartly dressed police man. She ducked behind a tall tree, eagerly waiting for the cop to leave. She followed Don Robert's. He was almost as tall as Julia, he had dark black hair and cold, unfeeling brown eyes. He was in his thirties, a well built muscular man. He was a man who'd use his strength against some one weaker than himself.
Flame watched as he entered a small house that was surrounded by other abandoned and derelict houses. She waited a moment then silently left. She new where he lived and she wasn't going to let him get away with what he'd done.

Flame took a deep breath lifting her hand to the wooden door. She couldn't believe how nervous she was. It was Falcon she was going to see, the guy she'd known all her life, the guy who got into a fight with her ex-boyfriend when they'd caught him cheating on her.
"Hi." Falcon stood in front of her his dark hair tousled, his black shirt clung to his chest.
"So can I come in? Or are you going to stand there all day staring at me?" A small smirk crossed her lips. Falcon moved aside allowing her to pass him. She could feel the heat of his body, the closeness of him when she passed him in the doorway.
"Where are Josh and Julia?" Flame asked shrugging out of her denim jacket and placing on a coat rack.
"They've gone to see aunt Laura for a few weeks. She and uncle Mike are going through a rough patch and they need a referee. Josh was dragged along to keep Rachel and Debbie in control." Falcon laughed at the thought. He could imagine Josh wanting to strangle his 9 year old cousins.
"What video did you get?" Falcon asked following her into the living room.
"Totally addicted to you, it's a romantic comedy. About two best friends. The girl Marie is given three weeks to find her soul mate other wise she'd loose him forever. Anyway Celia says she goes out with all these guys but her soul mate ends up being her best friend. I thought it was appropriate ." She smiled and seated herself beside him on the sofa.
Flame sat rigid beside him. Her gaze kept straying to look at Falcon. She caught him looking back at her twice. She continued to stare at him forgetting all about the film. Falcon silently glanced at her she was nervous. He slipped his arm across her shoulders drawing her against him. She lay her head against his chest.
"You seem quiet. Are you okay?"
"I've never been better." She whispered softly, snuggling closer to him.
"Are you watching this?" Flame asked lifting her head, and pressing her lips to his.
"No." Falcon grinned.
"Why don't we go upstairs." Flame suggested. She stood holding out her hand. Falcon accepted it, allowing her to lead him into the hall and up the long stair way. Falcon paused outside his bedroom door. His long fingers lightly stroked her soft cheek.
"You're sure?" She nodded pushing open the door. Falcon hurried in after her closing the door behind him.
Falcon's gaze studied her naked flesh. Flame stood silently waiting. His gaze scalding her. Finally she moved toward him unable to remain still any longer. Her arms came up around his neck, her body pressing tightly against his. Falcon's mouth found hers, his tongue teasingly traced a long her bottom lip, his hands stroking down her slender back. He lifted her, fitting her against him. Should feel his throbbing against her stomach, swiftly she freed herself from his embrace.
Flame swiftly moved to the bed. She lay on the soft mattress, pulling Falcon above her. His lips placed soft patterns along her slender neck. She moaned softly, her hands coming up to stroke down his hard chest. His light kisses moved lower until his mouth suckled on her left nipple. Forcing a moan from deep in her throat. Her back arched, her fingers dived through his dark hair. He smiled taking her nipple between his teeth, nipping, caressing, teasing her.
He brought his knee between her thighs parting them. He pulled back to look at her, then lowered himself between her parted thighs. His finger entered her, His thumb stroking . Her hips jerked wildly under his tender touch. She moaned louder, her body tensing. She cried out his name, her nails digging into his shoulders.
He lifted his head to see her dazed eyes staring up at him, her cheeks flushed, her hair tangled about her face. He claimed her mouth with his and thrust into her still feeling the after shudders of her climax. Flame lifted her hips drawing him closer. She clung to his shoulders, her breasts pressing firmly against his chest, and she began to move with him. Slowly at first then faster, meeting his every thrust.
Flames hands stroked down his back, when he tensed above her, his body shuddering spilling himself deep in her womb. He collapsed above her, unable to continue to support himself.
"Falcon?" She whispered into the darkness her voice still shaky as she struggled to catch her breath.
He pulled himself above her on his elbows. His fingers brushing strands of damp hair from her cheek. His head bent pressing a kiss to her forehead. elbow his lips. She was his now, and would always be. He promised himself he would do anything it took to keep her.
"You will be here when I wake up wont you?" She whispered softly her palm pressed against his strong heart beat. Her fingers tugging at the dark hair covering his chest.
"I wont ever leave you again." He kissed her swollen pink lips, rolled off her and pulled her tightly against his side.
