| This is the reason I have gotten this website up and running. On June 28, 2001 I broke my foot while I was out in my garden. I really don't know how I did it, but I did it. So I tried to find things to do around the house since I couldn't work and creating this website was something fun to do. Collecting recipes and old recipe books is sort of my hobby. | This is an engagement picture of me and my hubby, Marc. We were set up on a blind date through my ex-boyfriend, his friend, on May 27, 1995. And on June 8, 1996 we were married. Best thing I ever did!!! We have just recently celebrated 6 years of marriage and it doesn't seem like it's been that long. We both enjoy spending time outdoors,antique shopping, gardening and playing with our puppy Sam. | |

| Well he's not really a puppy anymore. He just celebrated his 7th birthday on June 6th with a birthday party. We got Sammie as a birthday present for me on October 27th, 1996. He is a purebred Cocker Spaniel and is about as goofy as they come. But I don't know what we would do without him, because he is just like a kid to us. We take him with us a lot, because he just loves to go bye-bye. He also has some siblings, 3 mini-lop rabbits named Dusty, Angus & Libby. | Now more about me. I am 26, hard to believe. I work with my Dad on his hog and grain farm in central Illinois and I really enjoy that. I am so happy to finally be back at work since breaking my foot. Yes, I am a Daddy's girl and a tomboy and I love every minute of it. I enjoy baking, gardening, antique shopping, knitting and spending time with my friends and family. Amy |
