Spoiler
Date
of Taping:
March 1st.
Scenes:
Central Perk, Ross’s apartment, Monica and Chandler’s apartment, an office,
a baby store and a cooking class, later on turned into acting class.
Main
plots: Rachel
freaks out when she realizes she is due in a week and they haven’t bought
anything for the baby yet. Monica and Joey go to a cooking class so that Monica
can demonstrate she is a good chef after receiving a bad review. Chandler has a
job interview and Phoebe helps him to practice for it.
The
first scene starts in Central Perk, with Joey, Chandler, Rachel and Phoebe. Ross
enter with a whole bunch of newspapers saying he has bad news. Phoebe says
that’s not the best way to sell newspapers and Ross explains that Monica got a
bad review on the newspaper and that he bought all the newspapers around the
block so that she wouldn’t find out. Right then Monica enters and seeing this
big pile of newspapers she gets all excited thinking it’s something good. When
she reads it she gets sad and Joey tries to cheer her up sharing some of his bad
reviews and the first time he got a good one. He says his performance was
described as ‘abismo’, but no one knows what the heck that means.
Then
we go into Ross and Rachel’s apartment, its night and Rachel is sitting on the
couch. Ross comes out of his room in direction to the bathroom and Rachel speaks
up, scaring him. He asks what she is doing up and she explains the birth is a
week away and they still haven’t bought anything for the baby, so she is
freaked out. He promises her they will go and buy all the stuff tomorrow and
then excuses himself because he wanted to go to the bathroom. Rachel stops him
and starts asking him what about them, now that they are living together and
having a baby together… Ross doesn’t know what to say and then Rachel laughs
and says it was a joke to retain him from going to the bathroom.
There’s
a scene in Chandler and Monica’s apartment where Chandler and Monica are
sitting in the kitchen table and Joey enters. He asks Monica if they were
supposed to meet at the movies or here, Monica says at the movies and Joey is
about to leave when Monica tells him to stay since he is already there, and he
agrees. Joey asks Chandler why he isn’t going and he explains he has to get
ready for a job interview, Joey asks if he didn’t have a job already and
Chandler explains this one is much better. Then, Joey says they should get going
or they are going to be late for the movies, Monica says she wants to stop in
this cooking class place first to talk to the guy that gave her a bad review.
Now
comes the baby store, Ross and Rachel are there shopping, with a cart full with
baby stuff and Rachel is putting in more stuff that she doesn’t even know what
they are for, she is just buying to buy. When they get to the part where they
have to pay, there’s this girl (which I don’t remember the name, sorry :p)
who starts talking and flirting with Ross. Rachel, trying not to laugh, looks at
them both and chuckles every once in a while with the stuff the girl says to
Ross. (The girl says he is like India Jones and Ross goes ‘…I *am* like
Indiana Jones’)
Then
Central Perk appears again, Phoebe is sitting on the couch when Rachel comes in.
She asks her how the baby shopping went and she says it went pretty good, but
that there was this girl who kept flirting with Ross. Phoebe suggests that she
is jealous that she was flirting with Ross. Rachel denies this and says she just
thinks its unfair that Ross is going out on dates when she has to be sitting
around alone carrying the baby. Then, Chandler comes in very well dressed (When
he enters he says: ‘Hey Pheebs, hey fatty’). Phoebe asks him why he is so
dressed up and he explains he has a job interview and he is really nervous about
it, so Phoebe offers to help him.
Monica
and Joey enter to this cooking class, she sees a guy and points at him telling
Joey that’s the guy who wrote the bad review, then another guy says the class
is over and Monica corrects herself saying it’s the other guy. When everyone
else is gone, Monica and Joey walk over to the guy and Monica starts explaining
that she wants a second chance to make the guy see that she isn’t a bad cook.
When the guy doesn’t agree to do so, Joey threads him and he agrees out of
fear, but he still doesn’t like Monica’s food and says ‘It’s abismo!’
Joey pats Monica’s back and says ‘Alright!’…’Yeah, that doesn’t help
me any better’. The guy leaves and a few seconds later a teacher and some
students come in. Monica, noticing a class is about to start, starts leaving
with Joey. The teacher asks a cooking question which none of the students know
how to answer, so Monica raises her hand to offer the answer. She answers
correctly and the teacher invites her to go to the first row, Joey hesitantly
follows and places himself in one of the ‘tables’ (they had an oven on it
and all the cooking supplies needed to cook) behind Monica.
Scene
in RnRs apartment. Ross is going around the living room when there's a
knock on the door. He goes to open it, and it reveals the same lady from the
baby store. She says they forgot something in the store, and Ross says something
like ‘Well, it wouldn’t have been hard to notice since it was the only thing
left in the store’. She leaves the thing aside and tells him that delivering
stuff to the customers houses isn’t part of her job, so Ross is about to pay
her a few bucks when she explains that she didn’t mean that, just that she
likes him and asks him if he would like to go out sometime. Just then Rachel
appears from a bedroom holding two dinosaurs Ross bought for the baby. Ross
agrees to go out with her and Rachel says ‘Bitch’ out loud. Both of them
turn around, and to pretend she wasn’t talking about the lady, she moves one
of the dinosaurs and says ‘No, you are the bitch!’ (or something along those
lines).
The
cooking class again. The teacher is going around the classroom looking at
everyone’s plates, Joey looks at a spaghetti and then throws it to the floor.
The teacher stands next to him and asks him how he is doing, he said he is doing
very well, the teacher asks him if he put the cheese in, and he says ‘You mean
‘put’ like ate as a before-cooking snack?’ the teacher laughs and then
asks if he used the cream already and he says ‘I got thirsty with the
cheese…’. The teacher now gives him a weird look and walks to Monica’s
place. She tries Monica’s spaghettis and finds them really good, she asks
Monica if she had ever done it before and Monica pretends to be a new cook
saying that he has never cooked before, and asks what its called when the water
starts making bubbles. The teacher says she is the ‘star’ of the classroom
and Monica, of course, gets all happy.
Chandler
and Monica’s apartment. Phoebe and Chandler are there practicing for the
interview, Phoebe is pretending to be the interviewer and Chandler starts
explaining the work he does and what he doesn’t do. (‘Ok, now tell me what
you do do’…’Well, what I do do…’) then Phoebe notices the time and
tells Chandler that he has to go. Phoebe told him just to be serious and not to
be himself (you know Phoebe :p). He was being very serious and at the end, when
he was about to leave, he says ‘Do do!’ and starts laughing while walking
away.
Then
came the job interview. Chandler was doing pretty well during it, and in one
moment the interviewer starts saying that in this job he will have a lot of
duties, he will have more than 30 duties, and a lot of stuff related to the word
‘duty’. Then they stand up and
he says to Chandler that he thinks he will fit in well in the office. Chandler
is very thankful and says he was really nervous once he steps out of the office,
then he explains that it was very hard not to laugh with him saying duty all the
time. The guy looks confused and so Chandler explains: ‘Duty… You know,
doody!’ The guy looks even more confused ‘Poop!’…’Poop?’…’Oh my
god, you didn’t mean that?’. Now Chandler starts freaking out getting that
he never intended to mean doody. So he starts saying he should forget about it,
that the real him was the guy inside the office, that who was now out of the
office was a crazy man. ‘Security! There's a crazy man!’ He starts calling
and laughs nervously.
Now
the cooking class once again. This time they were supposed to make cookies. The
teacher passes by Monica, and says ‘Now lets try the star cookies’ and
Monica says ‘Now, that’s the second time you call me star, so I decided to
make this…’ and she shows a star made by her. She tells the teacher to try
her cookies and if she likes them she can give her the star. The teacher tries
them, likes them and gives her the star. Then the teacher moves to Joey, tries
his cookies and they are even better. Monica congratulates Joey and the teacher
suggests that Monica should give Joey the star. Monica immediately says no, the
teacher asks why and she says that Joey can beat a professional cook. At this,
everyone gasps. She shuts them up and then she tells Joey that they should
leave, but Joey doesn’t want to because he is enjoying it. Then, the teacher
asks if they even paid for this classes and Joey says ‘Hey, if my friend says
we have to leave, we have to leave!’. So they start leaving, then Joey
returns, takes a cookie and leaves with Monica.
Rachel
is sitting on the couch in her and Ross’s apartment when Ross enters. Rachel
asks him how his date went and he said it went pretty good, she starts asking
him about his date and if he really likes her. He says he had a good time and
that they would probably do it again. Rachel gets a little weird, Ross asks if
everything is ok and she says ‘No, its not, its just… Oh, never mind,
everything’s just fine!’ She stands from the couch and Ross walks over to
her and asks what's going on. Rachel explains that she doesn’t want him to go
out with that lady, nor with anyone, but not because she wants him to go out
with her, but because she needs full attention and wants him to be there for her
and the baby all the time she needs, to this Ross just says ‘Ok’. Rachel
seems pretty shocked and asks how could he just agree like that, that she
realizes what she is asking is completely selfish. He says that if that’s what
she needs, he will do it, for her and for their baby. They hug and Rachel says
she needs to go to the bathroom, but before she can leave the room Ross says
‘Hey Rach, one last thing…’ She stops ’Yeah?’…’Well… about us…
Now that we live together, and I’m not going to see anyone else because you
don’t want me to… don’t you think it means that you want us to be
together?’ Rachel pauses and looks at him ‘Well, I don’t know...
maybe…’ Ross looks at her shocked ‘Woah, Rach… I was just teasing you,
just like you did last night when *I* had to go to the bathroom’ Rachel
nervously looks at him and laughs ‘Yeah, me too! I was just playing along with
you! Bet you didn’t know I would play along, huh?’ She stands there, looking
nervous, and Ross says ‘Um, Rach?’…’Yeah?’…’Didn’t you have to
go to the bathroom?’ (I don’t remember if he says ‘’Didn’t you have to
go to the bathroom’ or just ‘Bathroom?’)...’Oh, right!’ and then she
leaves to the bathroom.
Last
scene, Joey and Monica are walking down a hall, Monica is apologizing for making
them lose the movie and Joey says its ok and that he had fun. Then they stop and
Monica asks if he still has some cookie, he says its too late to ask that,
meaning he already ate it. Monica looks at one side and notices an acting class
place, so she suggests that they could go in and Joey could answer some
question, like she did, to make him feel better about his acting skills. He
agrees so they go in and stand by the door. The teacher finishes talking and
asks a question, which no one knows, not even Joey. Monica looks at him
expecting him to raise his hand but he just says ‘This was a bad idea!’ and
leaves, Monica following close behind.
And
that was it! 819 taping. It was a really good episode, at least I liked it. I
laughed a lot, probably because I was really excited :p. Hope you guys liked the
way it was written, I’ve never read a spoiler so I don’t know how its
normally written. Anyway, I hope I didn’t forget something important, it
doesn’t seem so. The dialogues I wrote may not be exactly what they say,
because I don’t remember every dialogue in the way it was, but it’s the main
idea of what they say. Also, maybe the order of the scenes aren’t exactly the
same as they may be shown when the episode airs. But to follow the story it is
written in the order necessary to get things. Any questions, just post them here
and I’ll answer them.
Notes:
Who ever says the Friends cast aren’t friends is sooo wrong. Matthew and Lisa
were tickling each other while waiting for the scene to start, they were all
talking together and laughing. Then they would just hug each other for no
reason. Jennifer was standing in front of the producers and David came, stood
next to her and put his arm around her. Courteney at the end of the episode was
freezing and Matt was rubbing her arms to help her to warm up. They all looked
really friendly with each other. Just thought I would point it out. :D.
There
was a part, in the scene with Monica, Joey and Chandler where Joey had to enter
MnCs apartment. He had to repeat this part several times, and in one of them,
Matthew stood up, put the chain lock to the door and then returned to his seat.
Everyone started laughing at this, so Matt realized something was going on. He
came from the other side (where MnCs apartment ends), walked to the door,
unlocked it and went out again. If he hadn’t realized, it would have been
really funny, he would had probably banged his head on the door. Even though it
didn’t work, it brought lots of laughs out of me.
RnR
fans: Obviously,
the last scene with RnR seems to mean something. Probably Ross saying yes to
what Rachel suggested was just a nice gesture, but her saying ‘Well, I don’t
know… Maybe…’ definitely may be a hint for them to get together…
I don’t know, it could be as much as it couldn’t be… we’ll all have to
wait and see :p.
Also, I found the way Matthew says ‘Poop!’ extremely funny. They were all looking great, it was great seeing them live. Hope you enjoyed the spoiler!
