Company standards are another method that can be used to raise awareness about Web Accessibility. Many companies have now created there own accessibility standards, many of these standards are loosely based on the WCAG 1.0 standard this is discussed on the WCAG 1.0 page.
A Web Accessibility standard could be particularly useful for a web development company or as company who is involved in another IT related field. Having a company standard for Web Accessibility shows that a company has a knowledge of Web Accessibility issues. It also shows that a company has a commitment to Web Accessibility.
