He Has to be one of the most charming men in pop, but an unshaven Darius Danesh has ditched his squeaky clean image, as he arrives in Glasgow for our interview, desperate for sleep and still hungover from the night before.
The 22-year-old singer has been on an all night bender with his bandmates and is now ready to lift the lid in his sex life - which he claims could fill a book.
In fact, he has even hinted that he plans to write one on his sexual experiences, which he believes will top the acient indian sexual manual Kama Sutra.
He admits: "I am an incredibly physical guy and for me, sex gets better as i get older.
"I don't know if it is my age, but i feel like i am at my sexual peak right now.
"People say that the way to a mans heart is through his stomach, but its actually through his pants. It really helps when a woman is good though.
"I dont do one-night stands. I dont believe in them because sex to me, is very special.
"One day ill learn all those ways and then ill write a book about it. It would be better than the Kama Sutra.
His tales of 24-hour drinking sessions and cladestine rendevouz with beautiful women, his revelations are a far cry from the musings of the goatee - bearded wannabe who became a figure of fun when he entered pop stars two years ago.
But Darius is determined to enjoy himself now he is one of Britains most lusted-after males and says; "As a young and single guy i often see a girl and well smile at each other and they'll be a chemistry there.
"But it might be inappropriate to go over and speak to her.
"It's like being back at school when you send your best mate over to ask a girl would you sit beside me at lunch.
"Only these days i get one of my band or my tour manager to say, 'How you doin? I'm Darius's tour manager and hed really like to meet you after the show. it sounds like im bedding loads of women but it not true because, really, Ive never had a one-night stand.
Laughing cheekily he adds: "I believe if something is worth doing its worth doing properly and more than once. Also, all good things come to those who wait. If there is sexual chemisry between two people. Its like a bottle of chamagne waiting to pop.
"If you put it in the freezer and then take it out theres a much bigger pop.
"Id rather have that anticipation and get to know someone, so that when we do become physically intimate, we have a mutal respect and an emotional chemistry with each other.For example, Cameron Diaz is so hot that id love to know what she looks like in the flesh.
He adds, 'I wasnt desperate to loose my virginity but my first experience was great. I dont want people to get the idea that im a sex manic.
"The starting point for me is sexual chemistry, but for me, an emotional relationship is much more important.
"I dont keep count of the women ive bedded. Ive never kept score because ive not been with so many women that i need to count them.
"I dont sleep around which is why there are no kiss and tells about me. Think about it.
His latest single Girl in The Moon is out this week and is set to provide Darius with his fourth top 10 hit from his debut album Dive In.
The album is set to go double platinuim as it edges 600 000 sales - putting most of the other reality pop tv proteges in the shade.
He admits fame means he has to feant of women who throw themselves at him because he is a pop star.
He says: "I can tell within a couple of minutes of talking to a girl whether she is a groupie or not.
"Its a fliration radar that allows me to work out if shes interested in me for who i am, or for what i do.
"If she falls into the latter category, nice to meet you - have a nice day. If she falls into the former category, then ill ask her out for a drink. its as simple as that.
"that can be unsettling, but ive got the most amazing fans, they are so loyal.
Darius, caught unawares at the Clyde Auditoruim gig recently without underwear, he has a confession to make.
He admits:"I always go comando even when im not wearing a kilt. You feel freer without underwear. I have no idea why anyman would choose to wear y-fronts and alot of briefs are quite restrictive. And boxers dont work well under most jeans.
I jokingly asked him his position of the month and he is quick of the mark with 'The detox position.Last months position was bottle in hand, head swept back.
"Apart from getting drunk every night, i am quite healthy.
"I want to have real experiences and something to show for my time in this business.
