Too much pain
In one simple departure
Can't risk that again
She denies herself the one thing she needs
Love
For fear that those sorrows
Will return to her once more
Never leaving her with a moment of peace
No one would ever love her anyway
She's such a mess
Not worth anything
Bringing only pain and sorrow
No one would ever want that
Want her
But how she wishes it wasn't so
