Your common room is a large hall. Great roaring fire pits are placed at intervals around a large fighting pit in the center of the room, where others of your house are already sparring. Rough camp beds line the ground along the walls, which are heavily covered with weapons, shields, and suits of armour.
Around the fighting pit, a number of course wooden thrones covered with skins are arranged in a circle to give those seated an excellent view of the combat. From the ceiling, large battle banners hang, bearing grotesque emblems in blue and black, your house colours. A twelve foot tall statue of Warlord Ragereaver dominates one wall of the hall, his eternal gaze fixed firmly upon his chosen ones.
