Two veiwes of the South Stack Lighthouse, the top one was taken from half way down the causway leading to the lighthouse, with the lighthouse itself being shrouded in sea mist. The other view was taken from within the boundary walls of the lighthouse.
Portable operation took place from a car parking area overlooking the lighthouse.
The antenna used on both sites was an inverted vee for 40 meters.
This site was re-visited on the 11th October 2003, many contacts were made on 40meters with the callsign GW1AKT. Equipment in use: Icom IC706 MkIIG, power 60 watts, antenna inverted vee dipole for 40 meters.
