Special Notes: Oooh, I love this guy! He cannot be launched, he cannot be thrown, he cannot be hit by supers like the Maximum Spider, the Weapon X and Final Justice and he does not flinch! Awesome! Great character to pick for Zangief veterans who have the SPD motion down to a science, cause he can grab anyone in the middle of any move! He even has a yoga flame kinda move!

Charlie is in the game!!!! Omigosh! I was so happy when I heard about this code because Charlie was my favorite character in X-Men vs. Streetfighter! Shadow felt exactly like Charlie and I was kickin ass! Until....I tried a super! Details in my Shadow strategy section! He also has a new Raging Demon kinda super!

The lord of Hades has decided to come to Earth and fight! Guess what?! By some strange coincidence....he looks just like his son! But a different color! I smell a rat here! Oh well you can't have everything! Mephisto plays exactly like Blackheart but all of his attacks cause a fire effect that does hurt more, so if you're a Blackheart player, it's usually better to pick Mephisto!

Special Notes
Captain America's replacement a while back who decided to remain a super hero when Cap didn't wanna retire! In the comics, he's supposed to be stronger and faster and it also applies to the game! A better choice than Cap cause there aren't any downsides to him, plus he is a lot faster than Cap in terms of footspeed and jumping speed! Too bad he sounds like Cap...they should have made some different sounds for him

Silver Spiderman

It's good ol' Spidey donning his special web armor from the comics! It's sort of like the Hulk's super armor because weak punches and kicks don't faze him but he can still be launched and the downside to him is that his supers are totally weak! They take next to no damage!

A lot of you have been asking me who this guy is because I have a screenshot with him in it! Well, he is a joke character that was put in by the programmers over in Japan and as far as I know, he only exists in Japan! Yep, sorry guys, he isn't in the American or Asian versions of the game! I don't even know how to get him even if I ran into a Japanese version of the game! Anyone out there know? He supposedly fits inside that blank space under Wolverine in the selection screen!

Other Codes

Switch Leaders
This code allows you to decide which character gets to kick off the match! Useful if you know that your current leader is mismatched with your opponent!

Start a game...
Select any two characters...
Hold 3P or 3K on the VS screen until match starts...
Your second character will start first.

Double Spidey Team
This code is now confirmed to work as long as certain conditions are all met! Just pick Spidey and any other character. Then lose! The code works only if you are continuing! Thanx to Sam for confirming this! It's not really a code though....more of a glitch! Anyways, if you do get this code to work, then that means that you have two Spidermen in one team! Do you realize what that means? Big trouble for your opponents, that's what!

Dan's Explosion
This code has been confirmed to not work. The only thing it does is it makes Dan always appear on the screen with his explosion intro! Does this work with all characters? Maybe this is a code to select their intro pose? Whaddaya think? Maybe each button does something different? I gotta do some research on this!
