The History of this Site
I was walking around the arcade one day and saw a new game being played. It was called Marvel Super Heroes vs Streetfighter. Being an avid fan of X-Men vs Streetfighter, I immediately jumped at the chance to play the new game. I remember that my first team was Spiderman and Omega Red. Boy have things changed!
Anyways, after about a month of playing the game, I spent an afternoon putting together a small site where I kept whatever combos I had learned by experience. Mostly just for my own pleasure, I had planned on using it as an online reference site that only I would see. I soon realized though that making the site public would be very helpful to people all over the world. I submitted the URL to as many search engines as I could and the rest, as they say, is history.
About a year after the creation of the MSF: The Site, Capcom announced the coming of the third crossover game. I hadn't originally planned on making a new page for the new game, but many of the regulars over at the message board ended up persuading me to make an MVC rumour page. Like it's predecessor, it blossomed into a huge site, covering every aspect of the game. In my opinion, it's surpassed everyone's expectations and I'm extremely proud of it's popularity.
Then
came the dark days of MVC: The Site. I had reached the end of my senior year of
high school and I had to go off to college. It was a great time for me,
experiencing new things and meeting new people. However, in my excitement over
my new surroundings, I failed to take care of the site. Links remained broken,
seldom was it updated and worst of all, I abandoned the message board. Then one
day I heard about MVC 2. I was slowly lured back into the world of the Versus
games. At first I had decided to simply fix up the old sites and leave it at
that. However, I'm now in the middle of completing my third Capcom Crossover
site. Old habits die hard I suppose. Hehe
I don't think I'll ever get sick of this game engine and I love making web pages. I'm pretty sure that I'll be making these sites every time Capcom comes out with a new crossover game. Thanx for all the help and support guys. It really means a lot. So for you guys and gals that are curious about me, here's a little summarized autobiography.
