About me

This section contains my personal profile and key skills. I have also decided to include various pictures of me. They were taken at different times in my life, ranging from my early years to the present.

Personality

I'm an easy going, kind and generous person. I'm always willing to help others in times of need. I have been told that I am a very good listener and a bit of a clown sometimes!

Profile

An enthusiastic and energetic person, a quick learner possessing excellent organisational and administration skills. Extremely able in numerous computer applications, highly competent researcher, efficient in the execution and presentation of work, being able to prioritise and meet deadlines. Analytical, thorough and methodical approach, displaying initiative with a flexible and adaptable attitude to work.

Key skills

• Possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Experienced and capable keyboard operator. Sound understanding of Windows 98/2000.

• Knowledgeable and competent in a broad range of computer programs such as Adobe PhotoShop, Micosoft Publisher, Macromedia Dreamweaver, a quick learner when it comes to learning new computer applications. Can successfully use scanners, printers and other computer peripherals.

• Knowledge of the installation, configuration and maintenance of PC hardware and software, e.g. CD ROM, Graphic cards, Operating Systems etc

• Knowledge in HTML, website design theory, HCI principles.

• Can efficiently carry out research using the Internet. Able to use and configure various Electronic-Mail communication services.

• Recently participated in the CELTA - Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults course. (University of Cambridge, Local Examinations Syndicate)

• Currently studying Mandarin Chinese
