The Purple Volcano Revisited Revamped and Relaunched
A very, very, very long time ago I had my first website. It was called the Purple Volcano thanks to my fixation with the color and my then screen name: Purple Lava. I don't really know why, but I just kept creating webpage after webpage and I am absolutely horrid at maintaining them. I also have the terrible habit of forgetting login names and passwords and changing e-mail addresses and so I pretty much have zero access to what was the original volcano. Because of a fidgety mix of a late nap, coffee, and nerves I am recreating the Purple Volcano. This site has no purpose to it. It's about me. And I know the reality of the situation is not many people will probably ever view this mess. However, the creator in me screams to go ahead and pollute the internet universe.
What and Why
If you are here, you might want to know a little bit about me as that is what is really the driving force behind the internet. Everyone wants information- as much as possible, please. My name is Madeline Munoz-Bustamante. I am 23 years old and I live in Miami, FL. For those who must know my birthday is August 18th and that, my friends, places me as a Leo. I am engaged to a wonderful guy by the name of Jorge Arce and our first-born son, Mario, has made his arrival August 12, 2003. I am a full time student at FIU. As of right now, I am planning on getting an English major and am a Junior. I say English major because it is what I am closest to completing at the moment and I reallly tend to like the stuff. Interests: Books!! Fashion mags (the good ones though, Cosmo is a sex manual). Outcross Magazine! Music- although I tend to gravitate towards things with a hip hop and soul flavor to them, I also appreciate a lot of other genres too. I'm just not a big fan of pop and country. Comics (as in comic books and comic strips). Anime, even though I am not nearly as much in the scene as I once was. Disney- I love Disney. I don't believe a person can have too many Disney movies and these are often abused by me. If I could afford it I'd collect the WDCC figurines that are just so beautiful. I have two- Tinkerbell on a mirror and Boo from Monster's Inc. Football!! Thank god it's football season. Go Dolphins! Go Canes!! I currently maintain an online diary I invite you take a look at should your little heart desire. Just go on through to LavaNotes.

Adventures in Outcross Magazine
About Outcross Magazine Something that I really enjoy relaying stories about to friends and family is a little enterprise known as Outcross Magazine. Let me give you some information. Four friends are the driving force behind this thing. Outcross is an incredibly unique magazine. It features a minimum of three comics done by independent artists and writers but it does not stick to a format such as you would find with Heavy Metal. The people behind Outcross understand people who enjoy comic books enjoy various other things too. With that in mind, they have created a magazine that talks about comics, movies, music, anime, video games, and other things that are of interest to this audience. Now, I used to be an innocent bystander and often times would simply try to be a voice of motivation and encouragement and it was in this role that I got sucked into the void. I now edit Outcross Magazine. I write for them as well. I also try and arrange various interviews, I push the magazine as far as possible, and I try and sell the book too. I have always admired people who come across something truly magnificent and make it work.
