The water off the dock is from 1 to 6 feet deep. For little ones, there is also a small public beach about 1 km away (about a 20-minute walk or row with the children).
You will need to bring towels, bedding, sunscreen, ... and food. We also recommend that you bring your own drinking water. Although the lake water is safe to drink, if your system isn't used to it, you might experience some upset.
We encourage you to recycle your cans, bottles, plastic bags, and paper, and a recycling centre is provided. We also ask that you compost kitchen scraps (excluding meat scraps) in the bin provided. Perishable, non-recyclable garbage should be stored in the near-by garbage shed (make sure to close the door), to prevent unwanted night-time visitors (raccoons).
Smoking is allowed only on the dock, deck or screened porch. Always dispose of ashes and butts in ashtrays. Due to fire risks, we do not allow campfires on the property.
