Performing Concerto Courses

Participants will be selected to participate in the public concert.

A) Performing Piano Concerti with the MUSIK ZENTRAL Festival Orchestra

Soloists are invited to rehearse and perform complete concertos under the
guidance of faculty members with the Musik Zentral Festival Ensemble.
Participation in the Solo Course curriculum.


B) Piano Concerti Study Course with the MUSIK ZENTRAL Festival Orchestra

Rehearsing and performing a single movement with the Musik Zentral
Festival Ensemble under the guidance of faculty members.
Participation in the Solo Course curriculum.


C) Performing Concerto Course for Young Talents (Piano & Violin)
C-1)Soloists are invited to rehearse and perform complete concertos under the
guidance of faculty members with the Musik Zentral Festival Ensemble.
Participation in the Solo Course curriculum.
C-2)Rehearsing and performing a single movement with the Musik Zentral
Festival Ensemble under the guidance of faculty members.
Participation in the Solo Course curriculum.


D) Solo Piano Course


Based on European style holistic concept, this course offers private lessons,
master classes, improvisation, duet-playing, dance classes, folk music, lectures,
student and faculty recitals, excursions into the Austrian countryside.



E) Solo Piano and Violin Course for Young Talents
Also based on European style holistic concept, this course offers the same elements
as in the Solo Piano Course. However the faculty specializes on meeting
the needs of the younger talents, aged about 10-16.






For this summer we have invited a stimulating variety of world-renowned specialists:
Prof. Toos Onderdenwijngaard (Piano) from Den Haag, Prof. Andreas Woyke (Piano) from Graz,
Prof. Martyn van den Hoek (Piano) from Vienna, Prof. Henk Ekkel (Piano) from Utrecht, Prof. Joyce Tan (Violin) from Amsterdam, Prof. Elena Denisova (Violin) from Moscow, Prof. Prof. Michael Pinnisch (Dance) from Vienna,
Prof. Alexei Kornienko (Conductor) from Vienna.





Language of instruction
The language of instruction is English German and Dutch.
Translators are available for Japanese, Korean and Chinese speaking participants.
Extra charge: from EURO 150


Practice Facilities
The festival provides ample practice facilities for our participants,
however active participants have priorities.
