| The Alumni Concert will be held at the Indiana University Auditorium Saturday evening, May 26th, 2001. Following the concert, everyone is invited to "City Grille," in downtown Bloomington, for a late dinner/get together. Many alumni have wondered what they will be doing at the concert. The only thing we are asking is that all alumni come together on stage to sing two songs -- "Battle Hymn of the Republic" and "Beautiful City." There will be a few choreographed numbers done by alumni, but that is optional! If you don't want to dance, you won't be required. A vocal and choreography rehearsal is scheduled for Saturday, MAY 12th, at 9:00am. We would like ANY AND ALL ALUMNI to attend this rehearsal. We will start with a meet and greet, then do vocal practice first. After that, we will be doing choreography rehearsal. We would like to have PIT return for this practice as well, to learn the music to be used in the show. There will also be a few rehearsals the week of the show, and a mandatory rehearsal the morning/early afternoon of the concert (time to be determined). We are in need of old photos and stories from alumni, as well as favorite memories of the group, to include in the program and in Verda's personal scrapbook. We are also looking to create a complete video library of the 25 years of Music Warehouse. Please let us know what tapes you have. The deadline is set for information for alumni information. I need name, address, phone and email by MAY 5th!!!! That gives me a few days to finish the layout of the program, and get it to the printers. Please look at the MIA page. There are several alumni we are still searching for, and we hope to find all of them before the concert. Also, I know there are people whose names we have missed, especially in the stage crew or pit. If we have, we apologize. But please still feel invited to attend this event. Since some people were "found" after the original mass mailing, I have posted the questionnaire on the website. That way, those of you that find missing alumni can tell them where to locate the information. Try to encourage any alumni to return the questionnaire.
