my friend, megan, thinks that all guys are stupid. in the time that i've known her (about seven months) i had always shrugged off her accusations against the male sex. looking at her record, one would expect so much from her--she has a terrible habit of dating incredibly immature/stupid guys. for instance, the last guy she dated sent her flowers, candy, notes constantly, and then, would refuse to go out with her, be seen with her even for weeks at a time. then, out of no where... candy and flowers again.... what a bastard. interesting sidenote: he also had this whole little fantasy world going on... when they fooled around together he only answered to some nickname that sounded like thai food. (whenever she would confide in me about this...yum, thai food.... i would suddenly get very very hungry. surin, anyone??). so, sure. one can understand, even sympathize with her belief. its just her bad luck. maybe all the guys she dates *are* stupid. but all guys? nah. no way. well. i'm beginning to come around to her way of thinking. all guys are stupid. four dates and fifteen hours worth of conversations. three weeks later and i still haven't heard from *him*. then, out of no where, a 3 a.m. message on my machine. stupid boy. i am not going to freak out about you. i refuse to be one of those girls. i hate those girls. |
