| Welcome to 6th Grade Orchestra! I am looking forward to have a great year with you. We have a lot planned for this year! On this website you will find all of the dates for performances and for extra rehearsals, assignment due dates, parent volunteer forms, and the rotating schedule among other things. Also you will find our handbook and a "break down" of the grading process. In my class I have only a few basic rules. They are: 1. Please work quietly while I am talking to another student/section during rehearsal 2. Please be in your seat with your instrument, music, and pencil by the time the tuner comes on. (that will be your "tardy bell") 3. Always TRY everything at least ONCE! We are always willing to help you with whatever you need (i.e., reading notes, fingerings, bowings, etc.) BUT we need you to come talk to us. We cannot read your minds! 4. ALWAYS COMMUNICATE w/us.
