Part 1:  Individual Arranging - rules and marks

1.  Students should choose a tune they can play or sing from those provided.

2. Members of the same group should have different tunes.

3. The tunes are rated in levels of difficulty. More marks are available for higher levels of difficulty.

1. From the 2^nd week each member of the group will take it in turns to lead a performance of their tune. The leader will play the tune and also organise the accompaniment, following the order on the front of the booklet.

2. For each week over five weeks the first part of the lesson will be a rehearsal led by the leader for the week. In the second half of each lesson there will be as assessed performance where the leader will receive a mark.
