Aaron Goldman joined the National Symphony Orchestra as Assistant Principal Flutist in September, 2006. He has performed with the Baltimore Symphony, the Florida Orchestra, and the Chautauqua Symphony. He received his Bachelor of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY where he studied flute with Bonita Boyd and piccolo with Anne Harrow. Bassoonist Lobo Ratana has performed with the Orlando Philharmonic and the Brevard Symphony. His teachers

included John Hunt, Arthur Weisberg, and Barrick Stees. Pianist Li-Ly Chang, first prize winner in both Taiwan and Texas Competitions, studied with Sascha Gorodnitzski, Fernando Laires, and Leon Fleisher. A unique program of wind and piano music features works by Taffanel, Gubaidulina, Mouquet, Pierne, and the Trio in G major by Beethoven. Travel through nature and hear bird songs in this program which will showcase some of the l9th and 20th centuries' most descriptive wind music. The annual holiday concert will feature three members of the Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra/ Washington National Opera Orchestra: violinist Richard Chang - a graduate of Julliard who studied with Dorothy DeLay and

at Mannes School of Music with Aaron Rosand; violinist Xi Chen - a graduate of Temple University who studied with Helen Kwalwasserand; violist Uri Wassertzug who is on the faculty at George Washington University. Joining them are South African cellist Heleen Du Plessis who received a Graduate Performance Degree at Peabody Institute and studied with Amit Peled; and pianist Li-Ly Chang who is the Director of the International Young Artist Piano Competition. Together they will perform the dynamic Dvorak Piano Quintet Op.81, Beethoven, Schubert's String Quartet, and other joyful holiday music. The Baltimore Piano Trio

Since its founding in l983, the Trio has received tremendous critical acclaim for its diverse repertoire, refined tone, musical spontaneity and unanimity of style. In residence at Towson University, the ensemble is dedicated to the promotion of great works of chamber music from the Baroque Era to the music of today's modern composers. Violinist Dr. Jeffrey Howard has won many awards. He received degrees from

Oberlin Conservatory and Indiana University where he completed the Doctorate of Music Degree. Pianist Reynaldo Reyes obtained his Masters Degree and Artist Diploma from the Peabody Institute. He is a winner of the International Competition in Bolzano, Italy and the Marquerite Long-Jacques Thibaud Piano Competition in Paris. Cellist Cecylia Barczyk won top prizes in Pablo Cassals, Tchaikovsky, and Aldo Parisot International Competitions. Since l986, she has been the Director of the Maryland International Cello Festival. Stefan Scaggiari, pianist, composer, and recording artist, has been an active professional in the music industry for over three decades. A graduate of the Eastman School with a Masters from the Peabody Institute, Mr. Scaggiari has deep roots in the classical tradition. His teachers included Eugene List, Earl Wild, and Leon Fleisher.
