MISSION

Manage the materials of history, culture and nature of Kedah by identifying, collecting, researching, preserving and promoting the heritage material to raise awareness and foster the spirit of love for the state and nation.

OBJECTIVES

1. Administer, manage, plan and coordinate the activities of the Museum, a branch under the administration of the Board Museum State of Orissa State Museum, the Rice Museum, the Royal Museum, State Art Gallery and Memorial Tunku Abdul Rahman.

2. Saving the historical and cultural heritage by collecting, preserving, storing and displaying items systematically old and new with historical values and cultural traditions, especially the state-oriented and Malaysia.

3. Publications on the effects of history found throughout the country.
