Tell Me With Your Eyes

by

Shadows of My Soul  (2004) p.33

I lay in bed at night
The stars for my headboard
The moon my night light
And I think of you... so far away

I wonder if that day will ever really come
You know the one...

The day we meet again face to face

We fall into each others arms
Profess our forbidden feelings
The ones that keeps us coming back
To this madness without any reason

We tell it to each other slowly
We say it with our eyes
And we know in our hearts for that moment
this feeling is not a lie-

Cross of Gold

by
Jill A. Terry
Source:
Shadows of  My Soul (2004) p.93

I received .....I gave
Love and faith

The night you lost it
Was unlike any I've ever seen
At any moment I knew
I would wake from this dream

Then I did....

And the dream became my nightmare
I called out your name
But no longer were you there

As I held the cross in the palm of my hand
Your words played over in my mind

It gets me home......this and your prayers
It means more to me than you'll ever know
It's more than a gift...it's a part of my soul

A symbol of our love...this cross of gold
Wear it in peace
As your journey far above-
