Jill A. Terry, a poet-writer from Florida, is not afraid to reveal her innermost intimate self in writing poetry about relationships with the opposite sex in her book "Shadows of My Soul".

She relates the joys and heartaches of loving the opposite sex in her poetry book.

Jill is no disciple of Lesbos, a female poetess in ancient Greece who admires the beauty of women. Jill extolls the beauty of men and heterosexual relationships.

Her two best poems in this book are "Ask Alice" and "The Season of You". Her poem "Ask Alice" is nominated for the 2005 Muses Prize-Best Poem of the Year 2004.
