Welcome to musemouth productions. The purpose of this site is, as you may have already guessed, to showcase the blinding creativity of today's moody girls; specifically, young female writers. Be honest. There are plenty of airheads and ditzes crowding our planet and depleting the precious air supply. So many, in fact, that sometimes it's hard to remember that incredibly intelligent and angsty girls live alongside them. These girls are freaks and bitches and poets and angels and geeks and beauties and punks and wallflowers. These girls are writers. And musemouth productions gives them a corner of the web to call their own. A place to show off, to rant, to ponder, to write. Especially to write. So why are you still here, kid? Go look around.
Any serious writers are more than welcome to submit. By serious I don't mean you have to write about death and alcoholism; humor and light are acceptable, too. I just mean I won't accept garbage that obviously wasn't really written in the right spirit. You know what I mean. Or maybe you don't. There are more simple guidelines provided on the "Write For Us" page.
All work - poems, stories, essays - is property of the girls who created it. Feel free to look around, to read all you want, but keep an open mind and a level head. These are opinions and theories formulated by freaks and poets. Anyone too normal to appreciate them (or at least tolerate them) can go be normal somewhere else.
