That’s why we conduct tree planting of mangrove and mahogany in different areas of Dela Torre Beach Resort. Dela Torre Beach Resort lets you experience the ambiance of natural beach. Its own unique rock formation will make you understand what natural beauty means. During low tide the corals full of sea marines such as sea urchins and starfish becomes visible makes it a good experience to take a peek. The dream paradise of a quiet, calm, and relaxing place is here, where the crashing waves are the music; the feeling of a refreshing breeze will take your breath away. The beach itself in the morning, noon, afternoon, and especially the night view when the sky is so starry, stars everywhere is what makes Dela Torre Beach Resort a place you got to stay over not once or twice because it holds different views every season time. Just one time won’t cover all its magnificent views.
History of Dela Torre Beach Resort
Established by Emilio Doña Sales Dela Torre Sr. in the early 1980’s, Dela Torre Beach Resort has always been the spot in Baler where family went for picnics. Its rich sea marines including starfish, sea urchins, hermit crab (umang) , crab (alimango) , fishes and kibit and pisepis are popular among locals. Baler culture has this hobby of collecting kibit and pisepis to eat or to sell as part of the early culture the so called “MANGINGILAW”, so after collecting in the site, they enjoy a fun picnic in the resort after all the walking in shore under the sun. And at that time, beach entrances were not as popular as it is now, so most people just tend to enter the compound and rent a hut to stay on. Yes, until late 1990’s there were no cottages for overnight but just simple rental huts to take shade while eating. At that time, children also liked DT beach for its swimming pool, simple as it was but in Baler, DT beach was one of the first beach to have a pool.
By the year 2000 the resort reached its peak of being the only beach resort around the area so competition began to grow as time passes by. Changing huts into more firm cottages and transient building is constructed, renewing small huts and making more cottages for overnights. Dela Torre Beach Resort is continuing to improve its flaws and will make effort to the customers comfort.
