Ketapang Regency :

Cover an area of 35,809 sq.km with the population of 392,981 is bustling city with the regional aiport "RAHADI USMAN" and seaport by KM Pangrango, Abadi Express, and Bugis Schooner.
The city is plentiful in unspoiled National Park and reserve. They are abound in historisc and there are many historic sites well worth visiting including Karimatan island. Ketapang is the largest multi cargo port in Ketapang Regency and natural distribution point of the central Pontianak distribution point of the central Pontianak. It is also as a departure point for mani charter boat which carry visitor to the near by city and island. For the local  interisland shipment of the rich resources.

Keraton Muhammad Saunan :

This palace a famous heritage site from the Matan or Tanjungpura Kingdom. Situated at Kerta Mulia Village, Matan Hilir, Nortern Sub District.



Palung Mountain National Park :

This first national park to be declared in West Kalimantan (1990), Gunung Palung, Ketapang Regency. Covers some 90,000 squared kilometers and is home to many diserve types of flora with dipte-rocarpaseae families, Meranti, Kruing, Durian, rambutan hutan, Ara and fauna, Kera, Owa, Kelasi, Orang utan, Beruang madu, Rusa and Babi hutan.
Nature has enriched this park with many beautiful sites such as beaches, waterfall, landscapes, and cultural enhiritances.
The park is located in the southwest of the province and can be reached bu first travelling from Pontianak to Ketapang by plane or Express boat to Teluk Melano bu minibus approx. 2 hours or long boat 6 hours. And second travelling from Pontianak to Teluk Batang by Express Boat approx. 6 hours and 1 hour by minibus to Teluk Melano and continuing to the area 6 hours by longboat.



Celincing Pasir Beach :

Five Km from Ketapang, this is an exciting panoramic beach femous for its Ale-ale ,which is a small clam.
Many visitors are delighted to try this local delicacy.



Tanjung Datok Island :

Only a few minutes away from Sukadana is this pristine island which is the site of a sacred grave and home to a variety of monkies and the haunt of the Malay Honey Bear. Transport is available using Speedboat.



Tanjung Batu Beach :

Another beautiful sandy surf beach, Tanjung Batu Beach is a 10 hours trip speed boat from Teluk Melano and Sukadana Sub District.
Along the coast you can enjoy the casuarina  trees and ideal locale for sunbathing. Covering an area of 90,000 hectares, this area has become a National Reserve Park with its pristine wildlife such orangutan, kalempiau, kelasi, siamang, hone bear, wil peacock, horbill, kankaren, rungklong, as well as species of bird called " Buceritidaes ".
Small laboratories and biological research base camp are found here.
Some touris facilities such as accomudation and restaurant are available in the area.



Kampung Laut Sukadana :

Well known for its beautiful coasted scenery  and white sand beach, SALAH NAMA island is the base for local fisherman. Nestled on the outskirts of Sukadana city.



Pasir Panjang  Sukadana :

Popular for its long sandy beach and beautiful coast, this area in even more femaous as a home for sea turtles which lay their eggs in the sand here. Two kilometers away from Kampung Laut.



Kendawangan Nature Reserver :

Kendawangan Nature Reserve is enriched with an ecosystem Comprising lowland forest, coastal forest, mangrove forest, swam forest and peat forest. Covers an area of 150,000 square kilometers. This reserve is also home sea turtles.



Karimata Island :

1
