Durgai Amman

The festival Durga Puja, is celebrated mostly in North India at the start of summer and at the end of  a successful harvest. Goddess Durga comes down to Earth every year for ten days to cursh the evil forces with all weapons of the Holy trinity – Brahma, Vishnu and Siva. In India a day model is made in almost every home or village in commemoration of her yearly visit and immersed in a holy river at the end of her stay on Earth.

When she comes to Earth she crushes the evil forces with all the weapons of the Holy Trinity Brahma,Vishnu and Siva.

In our temple  Durga pooja will be celebrated every Tuesday at 2.30~4.30pm
