My goal in making this page about this series of books by C.S. Lewis to hopefully show how these wonderful children's tales contain valuable lessons about Christianity and our world even today. These books, though never intended to be a commentary, like many of Lewis's other works, were still designed to teach children some of the fundamental beliefs of Christianity. But instead of writing a children's series in our own world, Lewis chose to invent the fantastical and wonderful world of Narnia, where God still exists but in the form of a lion named Aslan. Over seven books, seven children from our world, as well as several from elsewhere, learn the true nature of Aslan and help to save the world he created. On each page I will include a summary of the story and an application lesson, what I think Lewis wanted you to learn from that book. I hope you read them and enjoy them as much as I have, no matter how old you are!
