EPISODE #1
"PLAYING THE VICTIM"

The game started fierce with two competing tribes, Cebu and Sabang.
Cebu consisted of Adam, Sierra, Mike, Steff, Lizzie,  Jamie, Jesse, and Gabe - majority of males.
Sabang consisted of Sahara, Bree, Rebecca, Josh, John, Sarah, Matt and Kathleen - majority of females.

Day 1 on Sabang was filled with a lot of emotion. There were many ideas on what the first course of action should be. Kathleen tried to assume the leadership role but was pushed out of the way by Josh.

Josh: The moment I saw that my tribe had more girls than guys, I immediately saw myself at a disadvantage. I saw it fit to take charge of this situation. I'd rather stand out to all the girls for being a leader so that way, just incase they all band together to vote off a guy...I'm the last one they think of voting off.

On day 2 Cebu and Sabang met for the first Immunity Challenge. It was a game of speed and because of a slip-ups made my Kathleen and Rebecca, Cebu calimed victory, sending Sabang to Tribal Council where they would vote off the first person.

Matt: Losing immunity totally bugged me out. No one wants to be the first person voted off. When we got back to camp from the challenge, I know there was a lot of side conversations going on. It has become reality...one of us won't be playing this game anymore after tomorrow night.

Kathleen and John walked into the jungle together and spoke about their fellow tribemates. Katleen argued that Sarah slept the most around camp the past two days and that shes a little loud and over bearing. John pointed out that he doesn't see any value in Rebecca as a competitor.

Kathleen: John and I were in debate on who would be best to vote off. Right now it's a toss up between two people who haven't impressed me enough to not want to vote them off. Sarah is just annoying to me. She talks in riddles and way too fast. She is a high energy person and unfortunately people like that annoy me.

John:
Not to say that I'm happy we lost, but I'm excited we are visiting Council tomorrow. I've been talking to some tribemates, Kathleen, Matt, and even Bree about what they might do at Tribal Council.. I at least want to have a sense of who other people are voting for. Then I'll make me desicion based on facts I know.  It should be surprising tonight.

Sarah and Josh sat on the beach and talked about the Immunity Challenge. They were upset that Kathleen messed up on her part of the challenge, a puzzle, which took her a long time to complete. In the end it was her mishap, plus Becca's slow running that caused Sabang's loss.

Josh: As I said to Sarah, how much can a person offer when it takes them 5 minutes to finish a child's puzzle?  It was so easy, I wanted to grab her by the neck and slam her head into the sand, haha. Seriously I don't know what happened to Kathleen during the challenge, but if that's how she performs...our team is doomed if she sticks around. As for Rebecca being a slow runner, it's a tough choice. She's not the most physically girl on our tribe.

On Day 3 Kathleen woke up with an extreem attitude toward Sarah. Throughout the day Sarah sensed this unliking and approached Kat about it.  Instead of a civil conversation, it turned into a ltitle tiff between tribemates. Sarah screamed about Kathleen being shady and cold to her. Kathleen claimed Sarah was obnoxious, loud, and sometimes improper.

Sarah: She can say what she wants. I'm just going to write her name down tonight. I cannot believe the nerve of that girl. She's been nothing but one wordy and sarcastic with me since we first met two days ago. I just wanted to know what the deal was, and she just flips out and rants about how she doesn't like me. She doesn't even know me!

Kathleen then became dramatic and spent the next few hours away from everyone else.  Becca, Josh and Sahara sat in the hut and talked about the vote.

I'm sorry Kathleen. I'm sure you're a nice girl and all, but you're the only name I've heard around camp. So I'm going with my gut and voting you off. -- Bree
Kathleen...you're the only choice we have right now. Someone has to go first. -- Matt
And I've decided you're the first casualty. I mentioned your name to a few people, mainly Sarah and thankfully everyone agreed with the decision. Take care Kathleen. -- Josh
I'm going off of thing I've heard from other people. I'm making a decision based on the word of mouth. Kathleen I'm not sure what you're strategy was coming into the game, but I can defintely tell you that it does not work. -- Becca
Thank goodness we lost. I'm actually really excited that we get to vote you out. You and I just don't mesh well. If you don't leave tonight, then I definitely hope it's me. Adieu Kathweener. -- Sarah
Josh and I talked about this long and hard. In the end...you are the ONLY smart vote. Take care Kat. -- Sahara
I'm just taking a stab at you Sarah. I feel like you isolated Kathleen and made her feel unwlecome around camp. Hopefully this will take you back a bit. -- John
Sarah, you and I have fought since the moment we started the game. I don't know what you hold against me, but you're not nice. For that I'm voting you off. -- Kathleen
