Mumiy Troll Belgium News

In general, you won't find any more information here, than what you can find on any other Mumiy Troll site.

My only aim is to introduce MT's awesome music to a larger public and also to provide all this information in Dutch for those of you who understand only little English and / or Russian

For many years, Mumiy Troll has been one of Russia's top rock groups...unique in their style and rather "daring" lyrics, which earned them the status of being "the MOST DANGEROUS BAND" in the world...or at least in Russia for that matter.

Despite performances in London, Japan, Israel...Mumiy Troll really became known to the broad European public; thanks to their participation in the European Song Contest in Copenhagen on May 12th 2001.

My site has a cool new logo thanks to the kind efforts of Voodoo. As you notice there is still some serious construction going on. The Band and Article sections have been added, the discography part has been started and I added a little part about myself and my MT addiction in the "webmaster" part

The discography part is ready now as far as albums are concerned and you can view the lyrics of "Ikra". At the moment I am working on a Dutch translation of these lyrics.

The site building is coming along nicely now, with most of the toppics I wanted to start with being added. The history section has been added (in English only) and I started putting the picture page together. In the mean while I am also toying with the idea of an interactive part and a credits page...

Privet again dear visitors :) Tomorrow I'm gonna leave the country for a week's vacation to Malta...meaning the site development is gonna be postponed for at least 7 days. Nevertheless the "grand opening" of my site is still scheduled on September 1st. In the mean while I have updated the lyrics part. You can now find the lyrics already from half the albums displaid. So far the interactive part isn't kicking off, so don't be shy, go ahead and share your opinions. Also, I am proud to anounce that the official MT site is gonna link me on their links site, brilliant, not?
By the way, go and have a look at the Swedish MT fanclub! Voodoo has published a brilliant interview with Ilia. Thanks again for visitng and till next time! Tania

Back in black (or at least really tanned :) I am very proud that the official MT site put a link to my site. At least this explains the wonderful increase in traffic! I hope not to disappoint new visitors and try my very best to keep updating and adding as much as possible. Right now there are free logos and clips..all for you for the taking! All small changes this time. There's the Mumiy Troll webring now; so if you have a site about MT too please feel free to join... The more is definitely the merrier! Unfortunately it only operates in Internet explorer 5.5 but I am hoping to solve this little error as soon as possible. There are also more freebies now, with 2 new media clips added; the articles section is updated as well as the lyrics for Shamora 2. Letting you in on a little scoop, Sarah from the British MT site and I are working out the details to join our site into one big international site - which we'll celebrate with a big competition for all visitors. Privet again fellow MT fans! And once more things have been "happening" since my last post on this news-page....
For starters, we have now have a fellow writer to my site: Rosie...Rosie is a 13yrs old MT fan from Cyprus, with a talent for gathering the most versatile MT information and a very nice writing style. I am very greatful for Rosie's help. You can check out the Trivia section and Ilya's biography already...both are Rosie's work.
Also, I am happy to announce that we finally have the discussion going at the MT forum. This is definitely becoming a very international site as the 1st opinion is posted by a MT from the US. Go and check it out, it's an interesting point of view.
As for the future, there's a lot more to come still. There will be more articles and not to forget, the Troll's European tour. I am gonna try to catch at least one gig in Germany and be sure to read all about it here :)

Just a short note this time...The articles section has been updates with the translation of a Spanish article.
Also the discussion at the forum is really taking off now. Nice to hear your opions and thanks you Oru , Rosie and Kyle for your interesting contributions!

A new week, a new site....that's at least how I would want it to be, but it's a target I cannot live up to. So I am already happy to announce that there have been a few smaller updates over the weekend. Last week 2 new articles have been added. Rosie made the translation of a few MT songs already. Inoplanteniy Gost or Alien visitor can be found on the Shamora 1 album. The links section has been updated and on the interactive page there now is another poll and even a chat room. So sit back and enjoy I would say...Oh and ehh, last but not least: your contributions are always very welcome!!!! Tseluyu, Tania

And here we go again :) It's a good week for changes I suppose... Actually Rosie's question on the forum brought me to an idea...She was looking for a way to turn her friends into MT fans. Now I still believe in free choice *S* but perhaps a musical greeting card can help as a promotion campaign? With that being done I have also added the translation of a new article and last but not least....SEND YOUR MESSAGES TO MUMIY TROLL. Think told most of you that I will be going to the concert in Dortmund. So the plan is to print out the special message board on the Interactive part of my site and to have the copies delivered at the trolls. So go ahead, be creative and tell them how much you like them!!!

16th October 2001: HAPPY BIRTHDAY ILIA !

Privetik fellow MT fans...At long last an update because I haven't been doing much on this site over the past few days. As you all know I went to see the concert last Friday in Dortmund. What can I say...it was absolutely FABULOUS!!! Of course you will all get the lowdown in a full article soon enough. And there will be exclusive pictures too ;)

Good news for all you fans who couldn't make it...I managed to get some concert memorabilia: t-shirts, posters...which I will give away in a competion here at this site in a few more days. So be prepared!!!

But last but not least...I will be flying to Copenhagen tomorrow to see our favourite Rockapops once more, meet the wonderful memebers of the Swedish fan club and...just have a good time. So it means I will be off again for a few days...but look at it from the bright site; afterwards tere will be tonz of updates here on my little international site.
And those who sent a message to MT on the special guestbook...rest assured, I got it delivered Friday already and I will soon try to figure out what the band thought of it :) Big hugs, T-

21st October 2001: Back in black....

Aloha wonderful people. For those who were in Copenhagen...there's a special note for you on te welcome page!

So what a concert, what a party! It was definitely worth flying all the way to Denmark for it. I just returned a few hours ago and will try my very best to get the pictures developped as soon as possible. And believe me, there are quite many! Also, for those of you who'd like to have hard copies, we sure can get that arranged as well!

Today I am gonna take it easy and just recover from the trip. But in the next few days, you can expect a lot of changes here again. Not only will there be photos and concert reveiws...but there will also be a big competition where you can win a MT t-shirt and even a signed concert poster. Take care and talk to you soon!

1st December 2001: Competiton deadline!!!

A very big thank you already to the countless fans who already submitted an entry to the Mumiy Troll t-shirt and poster competition! The jury is awaiting a really tough choice! For late deciders....here is your last chance to enter, the competition closes up at 23.59 tonight! So better get to typing if you want to show off to your friends with an authentic T-shirt or a concert poster :)

24th December 2001: Competiton delay!!!

First of all a very very big sorry for all of you who are anxiously waiting for the results of the MT competition. Unfortunately I will have to delay the big announcement of the winners and the publication of the stories until the 15th of January approximately. Reason for this sad news is that I have recently been diagnosed with mononucleosis and can hardly leave my bed :( Even typing up a little message like this costs me extreme efforts. Also other updates will have to wait until I feel a little better again. Once again very sorry; hope you understand...And also a big thanks to all he wonderful people who already sent me those numerous get well messages. Thank you very many...I know this can take time but I am doing the best I can to get well in time for the 2nd Lille Vega concert...would'nt want to miss it for the world
