Muirgheal's SCA Pages
Hail and Well Met! Welcome to my corner of the internet. I am Bantiarna Muirgheal inghean ui Ogain and I am the chatelaine for the Barony of Nottinghill Coill. I hear constantly that newcomers to the SCA have questions and can't find the answers and are too embarassed to ask in their local group. Well folks, I am going to try and answer those questions. This page is for newcomers by someone who remembers how hard and overwhelming it is to be new. I will try and have answers in all categories but if you see something here and you dont see the answer, Please Please ask me!! I promise you are not the only one out there asking that question.

Now incase you have stumbled across my site and you are unfamiliar with the SCA, I suggest you look
here. Otherwise I will give you a rough run down. The Society of Creative Anachronisms is a historical recreational and educational organization. Our purpose is to get together and recreate the middle ages and teach others the arts and culture of the times. Due to health and safety issues, we do NOT reinact the plauge, the inquisition, medieval doctoral processes, or servitude. We camp, we cook, we dance, we play, we fight, we wear costumes and where we have our occasional differences we have marvelous fun.
