How to copy/cut & paste

If you want to copy some content from web page or from document you need to select the content just click left mouse button from start and drag to the content where you want to end , and right click on that and select copy/cut . or if you want to copy entire document just press CTRL +A or right click there and click on select all .

Now you can go to document where you want to paste that matter , like microsoft word , word pad , notepad , open that and right click there and select Paste

Now you can see the copied matter in the document .

this copy and paste function allow you to copy any text , images , from one location to another .

keyboard short cuts for copy is : CTRL + C

keyboard short cut for paste is : CTRL + V

if you want to cut the short cut is : CTRL+X

if you choose cut then the selected information or text will be deleted from that and pasted in other location

in the same way you can move any file or folder from one location to another location . like you can copy the files in your CD / DVD to your Hard disk , or you can also copy files from one drive to other drive too .

1. If you want to start your Windows based computer you can see switch at your cabinet , press it down once now your computer start booting up . and before you press this button make sure that your monitor also switched on .

To shut down your computer First close all the applications by pressing X button on the each window , or you can press ESC key to close some windows also ,

Now you go to Start button > click on Turn off computer button > now click on Turn off .

the above window appears if you want to shut down your computer click on Turn off ( Red) , to restart your computer click on " Restart " button ( green color).

thats it it takes few seconds / minute(s) (depend up on your CPU clock speed and RAM )to shut down your computer . when you see " Now it is safe to turn of your computer " message on the screen you can switch off the button on the cpu cabin .

To move icon or files from one position to another , move mouse cursor over it and press left mouse button now the icon is slected , you can drag it by pressing left mouse button and drag to desired position .

To open application in your computer .

Start > All programs > here you can see list of programs installed on your computer , go to the program which you want to open and left click it
