This is basically an update to let everyone know about the new section, where you can read about all my hospital stays since January 2003. Click here to go to my Hospital Stays page. I'm going to try and make another 'hospital stay' page that will have all my hospital stays before January 2003.
January 2nd I went to the ER in Pittsburgh, AGH, because I had very very sudden onset of abdominal pain, especially with trying to eat food. It was absolutely horrible. It has to be some of the worst pain I have ever felt before. At the ER they made me sit in a wheel chair, and they took me right back. They said I looked realy very bad. The ER doctors did blood work, and a cat scan, quickly discovering what the problem was. My liver bile duct was blocked off. You can read my hospital journal that I kept. Things that have happened since September of 2002 : My GI doctors still think that having my colon cut out would be the best thing for me. I keep telling them no way. I will never have my colon cut out. My GI doctor says that if I would of let him cut it out when he first asked, that I wouldn't be so bad off right now. I think he's wrong. I know he is. There is nothing that could be different right now at this moment. I'm suppose to be getting a second opinion about having my colon cut out. I was suppose to go to Wisconsin to see another GI doctor, but the day I planned to fly over, I got sick and put in the hospital, so those plans got ruined.
It seems like I can't plan to do anything. Something always happens to lay me up in the hospital, or something else, but its always to do with my Disease. I hate having Crohn's Disease. It's ruined my life so much.
