Our speaker for March was Richard Clarke, City Archeologist, from the Jury Wall Museum, Leicester. Richard's illustrated talk covered cemeteries in the Leicester area throughout the ages which had been excavated and recorded by the Museum Archeologists . What at first may seem to be a morbid subject, was in fact a most revealing and educating talk with many detailed finds shown an slides.
