Introduction to Muaykae the wanderer

 I am Photchanat Intaramanon or  Koh as a nick name . Muaykae is my Mien name  which some friends  at Sunchareun village named me. It means the eldest daughter who was born on the day some guests visited the family. I usually use the name "Muaykae" for my writings.  A few friends also call me "Muai".

My job

 I am a lecturer at Chiangrai College of Agriculture and Technology during the weekdays.

At weekends, I am a guest lecturer at Chiangrai Rajabhat University (CRU). My lectures at the CRU are Social Study and Analysis, Human Rights in Thai Society, Rural and Urban Development Planning, and Civil Society Development. The lectures are very interesting as my students are the local leaders and some are monks. We share many ideas and experiences in our classes. 

I was voluntary working with the NHRC of Thailand as a Sub- Commission on Ethnic Group Issues

  My Education

 I graduated from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in 1992.  A Master of Science in Rural and Regional Development Planning, Faculty of Human settlement and development.

 In 1981, I graduated from Chiangmai University :  B.Sc(Agriculture)in Agricultural Extension

 My Interest

 I am interested in “Ethnic Highlanders”,  “Human Rights” and   “Community Development” . I  love to travel so that I can learn and share with people. Music and nature also make me happy.
