| El Dia de los Muertos compares to a birthday party because there are lots of candles. There is also lots of celebration. People also love each other and think about each otehr more than people ususally do. They also remember about each other with presents and favorites of the people who died or for the birthday. El Dia de los Muertos occurs on November 1st and 2nd. I show htis in my amate arte by showing a lot of candles and flowers. I drew candles because we blow out candles for a birthday and on el Dia de los Muertos, candles light up the night! I drew flowers becasue people are sad when someone dies. I also put in atole and soda becasue we drink these on the two holidays. por A.G. |
